MadCityServers Deadpool

Well the time has come. I know a lot of people had bad experiences with MadCityServers, but for me for the most part it was a pleasant experience. I used their services for years, and up to now had a yearly VPS in all 4 locations they provided at the time.

When you try accessing their website right now (MadCityServers.com) you’re brought to a broken site page saying the IP changed. The WayBack Machine shows this new broken page was cached on May 6th, so I assume that’s when the deadpool began.

Only one of my 4 servers is currently accessible, the others fail to connect. I reached out to MadCityServers on here yesterday morning and have yet to hear back from them.

Just wanted to give the PSA for anyone who might have a server with them!

    They rebranded to chicagoservers.org or something along those lines.

    Ahh okay, there was no email update about the change or any notice of the change so there was no way to know. Still doesn’t change that 3 of 4 servers are down tho :/

    If anyone is a former MadCity customer and has had a plan with them, message me the plan details/pricing.

    I cannot guarantee that we can match the same price or specifications, but we will see if we can come as close as possible or come up with a similar plan in at least one of our locations.

    Adding to this, I keep getting invoices to be paid and I was paid till Dec.
    Replying to the invoice at the address listed fails.
    If you see this Brian, please stop the invoices and cancel my VPS.

    Due to Madcityservers being hacked we had to start over. We are now ChicagoServers If your server is online now it will remain online. We lost 4 nodes in New York and an ip range in LAX was compromised due to this hack. We were able to restore access again to that subnet in LAX and those servers are now online. Since we have no user data base anymore we will be adding your email and server server to our system manually. It will take a few days. You will receive an email from [email protected] to reset your password. Those who do not reset their password will have their server suspended. We are not charging for services at all next month. Sorry for this issue. We had some servers on Madcityservers deleted by the hacker. We didnt want anymore. There were a lot of servers deleted in Miami. If you had a server in Miami and it is offline then it is one of the ones deleted. We will open up registrations in a few days once we get everything working again.

    In other words, it's been at least two weeks since they got hacked and they still haven't recovered.

    looks like maidenhead epyc is the only option that works.

    Yes, I linked the page that the offer is currently valid on, I maybe able to extend it on some others if there are requests for these apart from LET based offers

    looks like chicagoservers.org is up and ready for business :) I was going to look up his posts on webhostingtalk but there seems to be a problem, anyone have a problem loading it did webhostingtalk finally deadpool?
