Some might actually require postal confirmation yes.

Postal actually wouldn't be too bad among the options listed.

I once had to cancel a server by snail mail. And forget about doing it last second... 30 days in advance or you screwed.

Well, that doesn't bother me much. Sure, it will catch people off guard but once you know it its easy to factor in as far as i am concerned.

Then again, they're also very serious about refunds. Almost everything is prorated to the second.

Thats at least something, i guess. No, really, there is actually a handful of Germans who are pretty nice. Gotta leave them that.

You'll get used to it when residing in Germany a lot ;)

I think allergic would be more fitting.

I had to verify at my registrar once for denic, it was a simple email confirmation.

For the checkup thing the article is about?

So the method is on the registrar, just like it would be with any other tld.

I still don't see how you infer that from the data provided (the list of options has only that one unclear line among the part that is really about verification by postal address after all) but like i said, my care is limited.

Difference being, Germans are a bit more thorough if you unlucky/lucky , depending on your objectives:)

    Hmmm, maybe ;)

Lol, it's like... Gotta get priorities straight... Bit anal about stuff but you know... The beer... The meat... The Mädchen.... The Lederhosen.

Lol, it'll grow on you. I live close by and we have a small office in Germany so I'm there at least once a week... It's different but like...

I dunno, even before I opened the office I frequently went to Germany to hike and I really like it... Like going back in time, but in a good way if you know what I mean :).
