netherlands VPS/VDS w/ LOWEST ping to Telegram

got a need to build MTProto proxy in Telegram for users using it in Russia where Telegram is strictly getting blocked. It must have:

  • the lowest ping to TG DC 2/ DC 4
  • would be great if unmetered but ok if >15tb
  • fitting in budget of $35/month
  • working REALLY fast

    if the purpose is to relay messages for chatting you won't notice 5 vs. 50ms ping

    IMO, this isn't necessary.

    Since you're launching a proxy, the best bet is probably something optimized for the lowest latency both to the DC and your users.
    Hence probably some location between, but unsure where exactly. Needs to be tested.

    So I'd check ping to 149.154.167.50 and 149.154.167.91 from the provider and from some users to that provider.

    P.S.
    Also IIRC, DC4 is for users from western and southern europe.

    Let me give you an advise. For telegram find a VM that has lowest ping to Russia. Doesn't really matter if the ping is not so low to telegram dc2. Many users will use VoIP numbers and that includes dc1~dc5 all around the world
    I know Russian numbers will be registered to dc2 but find something with the lowest ping to Russia and let telegram CDN do the rest
