Looking for stable 4C/8G VPS (~$40-50/year) with decent Asia routing
Hi,
Looking for a VPS with roughly these specs:
- 4 vCPU
- 8 GB RAM
- 50-100 GB SSD/NVMe
- 1 TB bandwidth is enough
- 1 Gbps port is fine
- Budget around $40-50/year
- KVM preferred
Main usage is running a few small SaaS services and lightweight containers, so I’m not extremely sensitive to latency, but network quality still matters enough that users shouldn’t feel obvious slowness.
Priority is roughly:
- stability / uptime
- price
- Asia routing
Asia-friendly routing preferred (CN/SEA friendly is a plus), but US West is also acceptable if routing is decent.
Not looking for benchmark monsters or crazy specs. More interested in:
- stable provider
- not heavily oversold
- predictable performance
- provider likely to still exist over the next 3 years 😄
Currently looking at things like RackNerd, ColoCrossing, Contabo, etc.
Would appreciate real-world experiences or recommendations.
