Namecrane / Smartermail Help
I've been trying to reach out for help from more than a week but no response on any of my tickets. No reply by the owner also in the support.
I lost a folder from my inbox. How and what can I do?
I am expecting some serious help on an urgent basis.
This is not a complaint post about Namecrane but I still expect replies quicker @Francisco
If there are any problems please convey I expect a reply atleast.

We have had a word about the same earlier too. You replied once but then no reply since then.

What's the issue? Can we please get this sorted as soon as possible. At least get the folder that has been deleted.
Rest everything can be fixed slowly but this folder is very important. Can you please fix it today?
Did you accidentally delete that folder?
you must check for drag it folder on other folder . and ask owner to check /Archived Data.
SmarterMail folders as physical directories so sometimes they are still if the webmail doesn't index them
No I did not delete it. There are too many problems using smartermail. Outlook sync issues are there too.
I recently migrated from cpanel to smartermail. While syncing in outlook after migration I had that folder but after a few days that folder got deleted automatically.
Nothing.
I concur that support is slow and sometimes tickets are left unanswered for a long time. I had to raise a fuss in the other thread in order to have one of mine addressed (still have 2 more waiting to be replied to).
Did you consider switching to dumbermail? It might actually be the smarter choice at that point.

Stop complaining, they never advertised premium support. It is simply a cheap provider. Low prices do not guarantee quality. They are popular cause they are cheap, and people still accept constant downtime and ongoing issues.
What's your definition of cheap? Can it get any cheaper than opening ticket almost a month ago, and having to reply once a week (3 times already) to stop it from auto-closing?
And for the record, I wasn't complaining - just stating what I'm experiencing though still want him to improve and succeed...
I still find Namecheap better than most. Maybe they have a serious ongoing issue and all providers have that. The main reason I called out @Francisco here was because I know he will come online here, there might be too many tickets for him to answer. I understand that.
The issue for me is at high priority now due to which I had to post. Switch from Namecrane and you'll definately regret. I'm facing reply issues still the best service.
I'm hoping alls well now with your folder? I haven't checked your ticket yet. I did restore and issued a re-index but I didn't want to login to your mail w/o permission.
This isn't fair to the OP. We've had issues with support on our side for a while, and we're working to improve it, it just doesn't help when the bosses are off working on bigger/grander things so we don't help the boys as much.
The OP did nothing wrong here, they waited quite a while to get this resolved and thats entirely on me. Only a few of us have access to pull/restore like the OP needed. If it was possibel to address from inside the portal, Ali/Yuan would've sorted.
Basically, no excuses. We need to improve our support, and we will.

I wanted to reply to that message (which was in turn a reply to mine) but then noticed they have "Barred" next to their username, so I didn't bother...
So the outage today lasted well over 2 hours, and no comment from @Francisco? That doesn't look very good tbh...
Aren't we to expect some kind of explanation, or postmortem analysis? Or should we not complain because "cheap service"?

Been a long day on that, been busy sorting things.
We lost power on our cabinet in Vegas. We had only provisioned for 20A, not 30A like I thought we did. We bought this rack at least a year before we put namecrane.com selling shared, and at the time we were just doing the ryzen's so 20A was fine.
We put up the genoa's last year and everything had still been fine up until this morning when something spiked, or a voltage dropped, and that threw both A+B sides. It doesn't make a lot of sense since we've even removed some beefy gear over the past year and excess switches so power usage is less than it was last summer. I'm chocking it up as 'cyberpower is crapola'.
Fiberhub will push in a rush order to get the circuit bumped to 30A and i'm ordering new power strips. The ones we're using came with the cab, but I must prefer the triplites we used at BuyVM a whole lot more.
I'll bundle it together with some other work we have pending for the rack (dual network feeds to every node, finally get a cogent port in, etc).

I'm having trouble adding an email account to Apple Mail on iPad using MAPI / EWS (and the corresponding app password configured in SmarterMail).
Contacted support and their response was that "I have an error in my txt record setting for autodiscover" and provided the following proof:

Well SPF wouldn't bust autodiscover, it'd just make outbound email not work.
Autodiscover should usually be enough. Is there an SSL applied if you go to https://autodiscover.yourdomain ?
