But they only support cryptocurrency deposits USDT(TRC-20), USDT(Polygon), USDT-BSC
So I got their storage server, more specifically the Storage-2 plan. When I first got the server, the HDD was so slow that it would not mount and cause my server to crash. I opened a ticket and 2 days later, they were able to change something and suddenly the disk became very fast (150MB/s for all 4k-1m blocks). It was fine for a while, but then I ran into another issue. I run UDP applications on this VPS, and for some reason many of the packets get dropped. Maybe like 50% even! I don't experience this with TCP, but it's very frustrating. I believe that this is caused by the fact that they have a DDOS scrubber with too much sensitivity, which can be seen in traceroutes. Also, sometimes the route to my home network connection gets really bad and gets super high latency/low speeds, but most of the time it's fine. When this happens though, a VPN really helps because it changes the routing. Eventually, I got them to remove the DDOS protection and all of the network issues went away.
It was fine for a week or two, but then suddenly I noticed that my VPS rebooted, and when I checked in on it, it turns out that they did a bait and switch on me. The VPS's CPU performance was suddenly ~30-40% less, and the disk speed reverted back to the unusable state. Fortunately, I took backups of this server so I didn't lose any data, but if I didn't I would have been screwed.
Also, I forgot to mention this, but there were two instances of my VPS mysteriously crashing and booting into a bricked state. I was able to boot into recovery mode to fix it, but it was a pain to fix it.
All in all, Deluxhost seems like a very untrustworthy provider. They have the slowest support I've experienced (up to 1 week response time), unstable hardware, and downgrade hardware without warning. Stay away from this host.
oof sorry u had to deal with that, ive had no issues so far maybe I just got lucky
