How well OVH lottery are going? Any win yet?

Got a few KS-5-A around a few locations within Europe. A couple took a day or two to deliver, some were delivered instant. All servers delivered as advertised. These machines seem to be build and checked for that specific config. Don't know about the KS-1-B.

usually the lottery exists when you have multi sys/rise configs that become a single KS config for example the 1270v6 had multiple options back in the days as soyoustart and then when people are cancelling those with higher specs it will get thrown to the same pool as a regular ks-5
thats my 2 cents about it :)

Well, why would the system randomly put it into a different category just because its canceled? Makes no sense.
Rather SOMEBODY did this intentionally, there are no accidents.

i mean they have the same cpu --> and open order to satisfy so its the same config i guess and the old soyoustart config doesnt exist so they just stream them into the ks-le-b pool or whatever

Somehow, the stale baguettes like the KS-B sold.
Must be a MJJ buying them.
But the Xeon G still available in all DC's.
    Confusion.

Looks like as of few hours ago the Kimsufi website was updated: https://www.kimsufi.com/en/

It has a configurator now rather than just redirecting you/showing every single option as it's own value in a table.

Weren't there some KS models a few days ago that had 500mbps? Looks like all the KS are 300mbps now?

It is 500mbit for all KS servers (recent ones anyway) but kimsufi does show 300mbit for some reason can only assume it’s an error, look at ovh eco page and it shows 500

The BW is more expensive in Asia so Kimsufi servers here are offered with 300 Mbps. The new site is avesome, showing the lower 300 Mbps bandwidth on the main page. Seems to be that on most of servers the page shows up the Asian BW.

I'll keep with API or eco.ovhcloud.com.

Figured this was the place to ask, but I have a KS-Mystery I'll be putting up a transfer thread for soon (please don't dm me, it ain't ready yet)

Seeing as the server has just been renewed, and it'll have 29ish days left, is it generally seen as acceptable to ask for the renewal cost + (half) renewal cost for transfers for those machines, seeing as they aren't available and are probably the best cost ratio of any OVH machine currently? (It's a 1650v3, 64GB, 2x 480 and 2x6TB - pretty good for plex)

You are very generous and nice for selling it for that much. When I was asking people, they quoted me upwards of 200 euros which makes no sense as the extra cost makes it a FOMO purchase only.

I know you said no DMS but any chance a lowly user like me can call dibs on it? Been looking for a good OVH machine for a while now :)
