Looking for a Singapore KVM VPS on GSL (Global Secure Layer) Network

atilaatila Member

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a KVM VPS located in Singapore, but I have a strict network requirement: the provider must be using Global Secure Layer (GSL) as their upstream/network provider for DDoS mitigation (or be a direct GSL reseller).

I know that Bangmod Cloud offers a specific GSL network selector in SG, and Streamline Servers seems to route through GSL's ASN (AS137409), but I want to see what other options or custom offers are available in the community before I pull the trigger. Standard protections like OVH or generic Path.net won't fit my specific use case.

Since I will be running Windows on it, I need a beefier setup. Here are my exact requirements:

  • Virtualization: KVM (must support Windows Server OS / Custom ISO with VirtIO)
  • Location: Singapore
  • Network: GSL (Global Secure Layer) [Hard Requirement]
  • vCPU: 4 Cores
  • RAM: 8GB to 12GB
  • Storage: ~150GB NVMe
  • Budget: Flexible for the right host, please quote your price.

I am perfectly fine with Bring Your Own License (BYOL) for Windows if you just provide the ability to mount an ISO.

If any providers here are reselling GSL in Singapore and can accommodate this exact profile, please drop your offers below. Community recommendations for hosts that fit this are also highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Thank you for the mention! :D

@atila currently our Singapore are all deployed with Ryzen 9950X/Enterprise NVMe/2x 25Gbps ports and GSL (Main) + Misaka (Backup).

We also have 7-days money back guarantee in case you wanted to try out.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

In our experience, we used GSL Networks for DDOS protection, but it didn't work properly and took 30 seconds to mitigate. The attack still came through and hit the BGP Core, causing the connection to fail.

We complained, and they only asked for an ACL.

While our services inherit DDOS Protection from GSL, it's not something that we focus on and it will be provided as best-effort from our end. If your main use case is game server and you are expecting heavy DDOS attacks, I believe there are many other providers here that can offer better services and support than we do!

Also we currently don't offer Linux OS at this time (maybe soon!), only Windows OS are available on our platform. ;)

As othere mentioned, we use GSL as upstream for our Singapore and Japan services (your other requirements are ok too)

By best-effort, it means that you will still be protected with GSL DDOS protection default rules and filters (which works well by itself), there will be no custom rules or extensive support from our side when your service is under attack as DDOS protection isn't our core offering. So if you believe GSL Protection will be enough for your use case, our service will work fine for you.

However, if you requires more advanced features (such as custom firewall, reports) or support related to DDOS protection, we would not be the best fit for you.

Hopefully that clears things up! I just try to make sure that you set the right expectation if you decide to use our service as we don't try to sell to everyone unless it's what they need.
