    In the US (latest third world developing country) i see that ranges are typically listed for tech roles these days. Kinda makes it easy to filter on both ends.

    But yeah there are some scummy companies that backtrack on the same

    ~15% despite I mentioned about my expected value beforehand which they say most likely not an issue. I try to meet-in-the-middle at 7.5% but yet they say no. In Singapore they don't need to be transparent about it.

    I mean... I don't think I can run a business well enough to be honest. I am potentially a good leader/boss, but I focus more on letting everyone happy than making money for the company.

    Sux. If they are backtracking what they agreed atleast verbally and not even meeting in middle is a red flag. But sometimes one should ignore these flags if this is the only thing in hand.
