How the same guy is still allowed to make offers for 2 different brands is still a mystery to me
Which CPU models do you use for these Linux KVM nodes in DMCA Ignored VPS Plans? Is CPU host-passthrough enable or disable default?
Waiting for @AvaHosting to send this exact same message

Anything in Europe is DMCA ignore mate. We have different laws here. We follow the law of the country server is in (Law of the Land Supremecy Doctrine). That means if you order a server in Albania for example, we need them to show us not only that the IP was on some torrent tracker (which isn't illegal and could be done through a tunnel or something) but that the actual file is hosted on the server with an exact file location + a request through an Albanian lawyer (deklarimi i advokati).
On any of our servers, regardless of location, we don't take down a VM due to Torrent related requests and we reply to DMCA requests with a polite request for the actual file location publicly accessible on one of our IPs which usually tends to get no reply from them or a vague "this checksum" which doesn't help us locate anything since we don't have access to client VMs.
DMCA is an American law - that only applies to services hosted inside the USA. Other countries do have copyright laws and do have proper channels to request action be taken.
TLDR; if you're torrenting, nobody cares. If you host behind Cloudflare and the IP is limited to Cloudflare only on 443 and 80 ports so nobody sees publicly hosted files on the IP itself, nobody cares. If you run a full on copyrighten video hosting services / filma24 style website on the public IPs directly -> you're gonna get shutdown almost anywhere... The laws and mechanisms for this vary by country. And any host will follow the laws where they apply - no host is gonna face jail time, fines of 1000s, and court + legal fees for your small VM price.. but most also won't sell you out or shut you down for BS or unprovable claims.
usually, cloudflare will notify the host company that certain IPs are "hosting copyrighted content", how you handle these notify emails from cloudflare?
Cloudflare has never done so to us. We've had clients behind Cloudflare with ports blocked and only Cloudflare whitelisted - never asked them what they're hosting - and we've never gotten a single notification from Cloudflare.
Where is it that you've heard of a host getting a notification from Cloudflare? Cloudflare isn't a copyright holder usually - and they aren't the reporting party...
well, cloudflare clearly write in the Email
but i do don't know how they gonna "forward" this complaint to the hosting provider
Interesting 🤔 we've never had this happen at all before. And I assume they don't reply to it and tell the other party the backend server IPs or provider info - so hypothetically if nobody replies, without suing Cloudflare to release the info, there's nothing they could do. ... Hypothetically, of course.
Here, answer by @skorupion (and some others):

We also get reports from Cloudflare regarding copyrighted content.
Copyright owners report infringing material hosted on a CF-proxied website to Cloudflare and they report it back to the backend cloud provider via their abuse contact.
don't know what gonna happen if the hosting company just ignore the email, however many big companies in the EU will reply these complaint, like hetzner, netcup etc...
Our AMD EPYC based VMs in Switzerland would be perfect for this use-case:
