    Frequent or forceful pressing of the F5 key—commonly associated with refreshing pages during high-intensity “flash sale” scenarios—may contribute to the development of repetitive strain injuries (RSIs), including tendinitis.

    Tendinitis is characterized by inflammation of a tendon, often resulting from repetitive motion, excessive force, or sustained awkward positioning of the hand and wrist. Individuals repeatedly striking the F5 key over short intervals may place undue stress on the extensor tendons of the fingers and wrist.
