Anyone know how to check if a domain registry is down or not? .it seems to be down.

Was trying to change name server for my .it domain at Dynadot but showed
The connection to the central registry is busy. Please try again later
Contacted support, support says it's nothing to do with them and they don't know how I can check status for a registry.
Wondering if someone have the same problem or know how to check.

Maybe the EPP server reached its max amount of open connections?
Well in Dynadot still doesn't work for me. According to support that this is the registry issue so something must be down. Might just need to wait til monday.
