Was trying to register .ee domain though zone.ee but they ended up asking for Estonia Photo ID. Where else can I register as a non estonia resident? INWX.de doesn't work keep throwing errors about ID as well.

maybe @tentor knows.
Tried Netim?
use netim, i bought ee there 2 years ago and no ID needed
Just tried and it went though but seems I need to wait for it to process.
netim works fine. I have one .ee with them.
I used zone.ee in 2024, dunno if Estonian domains need ID now.
zone.ee works perfectly fine. There was no need for ID, but we did register as an Organization.
I'm registered with almic.ee and haven't had any problems.
yeah zone.ee requires ID now and only accept estonia ID
Yes netim works. Thanks all.
For .ee only Estonian ID is allowed. (EE Residents or companies). What makes you choose a .ee domain?
Very weird, from my experiences, zone.ee give me a thumb up and giving me access to domain instantly if paid via Verified Paypal
Same as Almic too
a word end in e, so it looks nice with .ee
Just went to look at their docs and says verification by paypal is not allowed.
wow suck you're right. They used to allow it as far as January this yr that i bought domain with them. old / now
Well netim asked me to sign documents instead of giving ID, and I mean actual PDF to hand sign my name.
Its a convulated cctld to register. See https://www.internet.ee/domains/ee-domain-regulation#identification-and-identity-verification-requirements section 4.1.1
Yes. I HAND SIGNED documents to register it but in the end works.
Glad it finally work out for you. Stuff like that is why i never use cctld for super important stuff. Gtld is easy, only icann generic terms to familiar with, no need to handsign pdf and shit lmao
I have moved mostly all domains to cctld extension, like from example.com to example.uk or examp.le if exists

maybe check this site.
I always use this for weird domain.
btw If I remember correctly, you need a local ID or company to register a .ee domain.
Based on what I've read from section 19 onward, it seems there are no issues.

regery.com offers local agent services, but they require an additional fee.
look at this: https://tld-list.com/tld/ee
