Looking For Storage VPS
I currently have a Storage VPS locate in US, priced around $25 per month. The configuration is as follows:
8TB HDD (Raid6 & NVME Cache) + 300G SSD + 16GB + 6C E5-2690 v4 + 80TB Traffic
I'd like to ask everyone if there are any more cost-effective options available. The requirement is that the performance (memory and cores and Storage) must not be lower than the current configuration, CPU cores should be as many as possible. The maximum I can accept is $30 per month. Does anyone know if such options exist?
I feel it should be very difficult to find

Hi, we could offer something fitting your requirements:
Just 30€/Month or 300€/Annually (excl. VAT)
The monthly price is over your budget, but if you pay annually, the price is slightly below your budget (25€ monthly when paid annually).
Can't see the difference from my current configuration. The number of cores, memory, and storage haven't changed. Only the CPU model changed, and the performance improvement and price increase are a bit not cost-effective
Ah yes, my bad. I meant to offer 10TB of Storage instead of 8TB.
But I think the bottleneck isn't the size of the storage space; what I really want is more computing performance. Moreover, the minor improvements brought by the extra 2TB space and CPU model are not enough to convince me to pay an additional $10 per month to upgrade.
Basically a copy of your config, 1.5 times less than the budget:
Smaller $10 plan is also available, you can stack three of those to have 12c // 24 GB // 12 TB.
/ turn your VPN off prior to ordering /
what is the CPU model of this configuration? Is the performance stronger or weaker than what I currently have?
@servarica_hani answer this guy.
Chimeras deployed in 2025 had CPUs like Xeon Gold 5118 and E5-2696 v4.
Chimeras-2026 should use Xeons Gold.
Here's the YABS for the smallest plan (Chimera Hybrid -1), date is June 2025:

Just in case, there's also a 7 day money back guarantee.
Hi @GingerCat
the CPU is E5-2696 v4
which is of similar performance to the one you have
Thanks @VTCuong for pointing me here to answer
