Recommendations for Linux VPS - unlimited bandwidth + DMCA resistant
in Help
Hello,
Would anyone have suggestions for a low-cost Linux VPS from a provider that does not enforce a bandwidth cap? Preferably DMCA resistant as well.
I'm hoping to use it to proxy data from a bucket.
If anyone has suggestions, would love to hear them.
Thanks in advance ![]()

when alexhost and ava.hosting comments just look away, high price for ancient servers

Yes, you can register an account first and then place an order when the item is in stock. You can follow the Telegram channel, which will push notifications about buyvm restocking information, for example: https://t.me/buyvmbh
BuyVM is DMCA resistant?
I recommend @aluy (https://aluy.net). I have four VPSes with them (CH, BG, NL, FI) and never ran into bandwidth issues. Support is extremely friendly. They're pretty active on LET, which is nice.
There's @MAXKO_Hosting (https://maxko-hosting.com) who has some great locations (I have one in Croatia and one in South Africa) and unmetered bandwidth as well. They are lenient, but can be a bit pricey. Worth it, though.
Then there's https://pfcloud.io, but he's not active on LET. Support isn't bad though. They have Slovenia and Netherlands locations (I use their Slovenia location) with unmetered FUP bandwidth. The 3 TB/month "limit" is not enforced.
There's also https://4vps.su (not active on LET either), but their support sucks and they recently raised prices by 40%. They ignore nearly all complaints and have locations everywhere (I have one in Greece). Beware that some locations are fake.
Of course, none of these providers will tolerate straight-up abuse or spam, but none of them are going to suspend you instantly the moment a random DMCA complaint gets thrown at you, either.
For Aluy, does location matter for DMCA?
Not that I'm aware of, but you'd have to check their policies to be sure.
Hi.
Check our VPS in Moldova
https://ava.hosting/vps/
We have "unlimited traffic" but as long doesn't affect others in the node. Is fine. Generally you can use ~32TB up to 99TB.
We ignore DMCA, just read our AUP.
Kind Regards,
Ava.hosting
Thanks for the warning, I'll steer clear of them.
