  • Prize from the previous giveaway has not been delivered in two months
  • LET admins have hidden an impartial but negative review about the provider from search engines
  • LET admins have now sneakily deleted a comment in this thread complaining about that and linking to the review

  At least do not insult us. You or @raindog308 have just deleted the comment from @zGato which was linking to the bad review which was previously hidden, and are actively working to censor bad reviews for your affiliate.

  Yes, I removed @zGato’s post in the giveaway thread. It was removed because it was rehashing the same review that has already been addressed by the provider, publicly, with a resolution, an apology, and a credit offer.

  At some point, repeatedly injecting the same resolved complaint into unrelated threads (like a giveaway thread) stops being helpful and starts being noise. That’s where moderation steps in.

  No one here is being insulted, and no one is being protected from legitimate criticism. But we’re also not going to allow every thread to turn into a recycling ground for the same issue after it’s been addressed.

  If there are new developments, post them. If it’s the same resolved complaint, it doesn’t need to be repeated across multiple threads.

  No one is removing reviews broadly or protecting providers. What was removed was a repeated repost of the same already addressed complaint into an unrelated thread. That’s a moderation call, not favoritism.

  If we allowed every dispute to be injected into every thread about a provider, the forum would get noisy fast. That standard applies across the board.

  You’re also comparing apples to oranges. General discussion, even if messy, isn’t the same as repeating the same allegation across multiple threads when it already has its own dedicated discussion.

  For what it’s worth, I am speaking with @zGato directly via PM. I make the effort to have those 1:1 conversations because actually resolving things matters more than letting them spiral publicly.

  On the broader tone, I’m a big believer in free expression, but I agree some of the recent shitposting and flaming has gone a bit too far. We’re looking at dialing that back slightly without overcorrecting.

  There’s no favoritism here. Just trying to keep things readable and on track.

  guy says he wants me killed, yeah send him off for a week or two even though it's his like 25th offense, clearly he was just having a bad day and wanting another community member dead isn't even that bad as long as the 200 bucks is paid

  we have the same group of like 3 people downgrading the quality of this forum so fucking bad and literally no one appreciates their input except for them, clearly bullies but quite bad at it

  and then we have some people just making funny remarks

  and i don't think we should confuse them

  we have the don't be a dick rule under "the golden rule of let" but some people have been dicks with no exceptions for years and nobody gives a fuck
