I would agree with this. While reading through messages, I also felt like that all these suspicions could have been averted if done like above.
I think OP stressed too much on the point of honesty from the provider here and hence people are also nit picking too much.
@emgh
Thanks for keep this thread near the top
The problem with democracy is that > 85% of voters have zero self control as demonstrated by jsg
Hi,
to get back to the real topic, since its i think the crucial point here:
If yes, is this actually a normal procedure with this provider? Nowadays activating orders without KYC and without payment seems to be something no one will do.
And thats why people here might think that the provider somehow ( why and how ever ) knew who this account was.
But if its a normal procedure with this provider to activate without kyc/payment, i dont see why the results / flow of the test should be doubted. While of course it looks somehow double nonsense to activate an order, while you know its a test that might be published and still perform the way it was performed. But maybe the provider's products just have this limits and thats it. As far as i know the hoster offers tollerance for DMCA stuff?! So that would already be something why the price is higher and the technical performance is lower.
Tldr: Is activation without kyc/payment for this provider a normal procedure, yes or no.

@jsg First of all, thank you for the review/feedback on our product. We’re aware of the issues and will review and analyze everything in detail.
As for the rest, we want to clarify that this review was not paid for. It was not incentivized in any way; the opinion or review has always been independent, and we agree with that. We provided a VPS and activated it manually. That’s it.. @jsg didn’t have to pay anything.
We did not influence or alter anything for our own benefit or anything of the sort.
In other words, at no point did we try to be dishonest; we have always been honest about this and all things purposed. He can confirm for sure.
As for the rest, @jsg has already explained it.
Regarding the refund, we don’t know how this got to this point, but ALL of our rules and policies are listed and available on our website.
Thank you,
Alexhost
The whole point is that he can't.
Now, do you typically activate services without payment?
one thing i'm taking away from this conversation is we're lacking a current drama thread lol.
We should have asked @jsg how those write r/w correspond. It does look like it was on HDD instead of NVME
Yeah, agreed.
For avoidance of doubt, I don't think anyone is accusing you of actually doing this.
Rather, we were casting doubt on the assertion that you could not have changed anything, because it would have been easy for you to have done so with the order flow as described. That of course, doesn't mean that you did. We just have to take it on trust, exactly as we would have done if a big fuss hadn't been made about how impossible it was for the results to have been tampered with.
You need to be using at least 50% italics with jsg to get sufficient response.
What a line it was
