  • Ultra-fast server – great disks, strong CPU, and a very fast network connection. I recommend it.

The only downsides are a still not very well-polished VNC panel (it didn’t work for me), no option to set rDNS on your own for IPv4 and IPv6, and port 25 is blocked.

What is the problem to ask support to unblock the port and setup your Domain name rDNS ?

If you pay for the server well and don’t do bad things, that’s totally normal, of course if you abuse they will kick you out for sure.

Reverse DNS is currently available only for IPv4, not for IPv6.

May request that feature to be added,

@ComputeBox will you add rDNS for IPv6 in the near future ?

How long you use servers with them ? I got 2 vps with @ComputeBox : the cheapest one and x2 mid package,

but I got no time to setup anything yet, I work so hard, the only time I got is 5-10 min to check my phone during coffee breaks.

Yes, the Bremen servers are protected by DDoS mitigation. However, we are not able to provide details about the exact specifications of the protection.> @DracoBlue said:

As IPv6 rDNS is a very low-demand feature, it is currently not prioritized. However, it will be introduced together with self-service rDNS for both IPv6 and IPv4.

@ComputeBox is the backups feature generally available by request or being developed still?

Currently, we only offer managed backups in the Hamburg location. The beta for self-service backups is expected to launch within the next one to two months in Hamburg and will roll out to Bremen once the beta phase is complete.

Our backups in Hamburg are stored in a separate backup data center approximately 10 km away from the primary data center, ensuring maximum data security.

What will the price for backups be? And until when is this Bremen offer available?

  • What limits are applied to the processor, and for how long can it run at 100% CPU usage?

Yes, we do have a DDoS protection from our upstream lwlcom, but as we do not specialize in this field, we recommend going with another provider if u speculate u will be commonly targeted.

  • Will the price go up when it’s time to renew? Just like some companies do

All our contracts renew at the same price. We have made price adjustments in the past, but these only affected new orders, existing contracts were never changed.
