Storage VPS with plenty of monthly bandwidth
I'm looking for a storage VPS with the following minimum specs:
- 2 vCPUs (or 1 vCPU if it's particularly fast)
- 4 GB RAM
- 15 GB SSD for OS
- 1 TB HDD for storage
- Unmetered @ 100 Mbps or equivalent (i.e. ~33 TB/month, although it's likely I'll use under 10)
- $80/year when paid annually or triennially
Must accept cryptocurrency and must not be in the Netherlands. Must not be a reseller of or colocated with any major host (e.g. Hetzner). The server will run a Hyphanet (Freenet) node and a Tor non-exit relay. DMCA/abuse ignoring is not required as I am not planning to run an exit relay. It should have good connectivity to the US and EU. I don't mind spotty uptime if it saves money, and I don't need DDoS protection.

Hi,
We can definitely help
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K 2vCores
RAM: 4GB
Disks: 1 x 40GB NVMe + 1 x 1TB HDD-backed
Bandwidth: 1Gbit/s (unmetered, fair-use)
For 72€/y
DM if interested
@layer7 can give a 4 vCPU 8 gb ram 1 TB server for 96 eur/yr (8 eur/month)
I feel like they can reduce the cores and ram to accomodate you at a cheaper price and they have 50TB/month. (Not sure how their affiliate system might work in a custom deal but whatever, hope this helps ya)
I feel like though there might not be deals that fit just right into it, LET providers can give you a reasonable (custom deal) at this price to be honest, so I don't think that there is anything to worry about, hopefully.
Edit: Its actually in EUR instead of USD
Forgot to mention the location, we can do this in Germany, Nuremberg.
I can't edit the reply for some reason.
I notice that your ToS mentions that you can KYC customers at any time. Is this only done in cases of suspected abuse? Because I cannot complete KYC and I don't want to lose a service for failing KYC.
That's actually just in case the account is flagged as suspicious / fraud during sign up. If you're registering normally with your proper data we won't prompt you.
@forest
Hy there,
You could take a 1TB service and add as much BW as you wish for example:
Atlas XR-500 - Storage 1 TB
VPS Specs fully Configurable!
2 vCPU Xeon Scale Gen 2
4 GB DDR4 RAM
1TB RAID10 Drive - 8K IOPS @ 4K and up to 2 GBPS RW
1 Dedicated IPV4 IP
1 Dedicated /64 IPV6
Port Speed 1 GBPS
High-Speed Included Traffic - 3TB
7USD / MO + 50 USD /MO for UNLIMITED BW
or
Event Horizon NX-01 - Storage 1 TB - G2.1
VPS Specs fully Configurable!
1 vCPU Xeon Scale Gen 2
2 GB DDR4 RAM
20 GB NVME Boot Drive
1 TB HDD Storage Add-on (Raid 60) 1K IOPS @ 4K and up to 1 GBPS RW
1 Dedicated IPV4 IP
1 Dedicated /64 IPV6
Port Speed 1 GBPS
High-Speed Included Traffic - 3TB
5 USD / MO + 50 USD /MO for UNLIMITED BW
A +100TB monthly BW would be 25 USD / MO
A +50TB monthly BW would be 18 USD / MO
Yet we do not accept crypto, sry.

Wow, premium addon. I'm sure @AlteredParadox would like to purchase 330TB traffic
That add-on should be available on all XSG2 services, if not, ticket us,
We will conduct a large maintenance in WHMCS platform on 18-APRIL-2026 ( mail has already been sent out to all customers )
Change your relay, i did not receive it
If you're fine with Sofia and older CPU, we can hook it up.
I decided to go with @Matthew18_'s Loclix in Germany if everything there works out, but I'll keep my eye open for other good options to use in addition, since two VPSes are always better than one!
Hey! Unfortunately the bandwidth extensions are above my budget, and I only pay with crypto.
I already have a VPS in Sofia, BG from Aluy, but this tempts me.
Is it two vCPUs? What CPU? If it's particularly old (Xeon E5 26xx or slower), how much more would three vCPUs cost?
There will be two heavy CPU users: A JVM for the Hyphanet node, and Tor itself (which is largely single-threaded). They won't be maxing out the CPU, but the CPU should be fast enough that they never hit 100%, which would cause problems with the timeouts in their cryptographic protocols. An extra vCPU improves responsiveness, but isn't necessary.
