    I am in love with HetrixTools (aff / non-aff)

    I use Hetrixtools for couple of sites and it works fine for the sites that it works. However I can not activate a monitor for one site that is using Cloudflare, although it returns status 200 when connecting to it. Any idea why that might be?

    Make an WAF rule and allow ASN from HetrixTools to access your website.

    Yes, make waf rule with user agent exclusion and no logging, because hetrix will taint tour stats at cf.

    Hi,

    @MikePT recently pointed me on

    Netdata

    They have also a self hosted community version as it seems.

    https://github.com/netdata/netdata

    I hadnt time for a closer look, but on the first glance it looks use-able.

    @m4nu said: Only downside of Uptime Kuma is that it uses SQLite, so if you have many monitors or short intervals, the dashboard will get slower. One workaround is to limit intervals or the history to keep. With this it works alright with 50-100 monitors.

    https://www.sqlite.org/pragma.html#pragma_synchronous

    set this to off might help

  • Also using UptimeRobot Free plan for a long time now and did not receive any email about limiting the free plan to non-commercial use only.

    If you need a free alternative with no commercial estrictions, I've been working on https://uptrack.app/ Free plan includes 50 monitors (10 at 30s + 40 at 1min intervals) -- so plenty on of monitors on free plan

    Nice. Vietnamese developers. I see few 404 pages, 0 about us. Seems heavily vibed. Non-the-less - worth to check.

  • If you are setting up the agent on Docker, set up scheduled restart for that container.
    In my setup it was memory leaking and dragging down the whole docker instance.
    I set memory limit for the agent and it stopped working, not great as well, as it would loose track of the server.

    I've been using UptimeFlare on a cloudflare worker.
