[EU] Looking for Ryzen 9950X or 7950X3D VPS, NL/DE preferred, CPUID verified

Hey everyone,

Looking for a solid VPS in the EU and hoping someone here can help.

After a frustrating experience being delivered a Genoa node when a 9950X was advertised, I’m now being more specific about what I need.

Requirements:
• CPU: Ryzen 9950X or 7950X3D, confirmed via CPUID (family 26), not just the model string
• RAM: 16GB+ DDR5
• Storage: 200GB+ NVMe with decent 4k IOPS, no hypervisor throttled nodes please
• AMD-V / VM-x: enabled
• Port: 10Gbps+
• Location: Netherlands or Germany preferred, France acceptable
• Billing: monthly

I’ll be running YABS on day one and verifying the CPU via CPUID so please only offer if you’re confident in what you’re delivering. Happy to share results publicly as a positive review if everything checks out.

Feel free to reply here or DM me. Thanks in advance!

    How many CPU cores?

@AlbaHost fits perfectly besides the storage, maybe you can get something custom via PMs with them :) (they have the non-3D 7950X tho, not sure if there's a huge difference there)
Last time I checked they only had 7950X in Netherlands, but perhaps they have in their other locs as well.
    YABS: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3955054/#Comment_3955054
    Those are dedicated cores btw

Thanks for the tips both! zGato, looking for 4-6 cores minimum and will check out AlbaHost and that YABS link now. Dedicated cores is exactly what I’m after after getting burned with a throttled shared node recently. And Andru, no budget set intentionally, looking for the right specs first and happy to pay fair

@RIYAD (host4fun) will probably be able to offer you something with ryzen 9950x.

Found my provider! Huge thanks to @rsk at Layer.ae.

After a frustrating experience elsewhere being delivered a Genoa node when a 9950X was advertised, rsk went above and beyond. Pricing is very competitive for the specs, especially on monthly billing which he extended as a favour. Even threw in extra bandwidth for free. Really good experience, he clearly looks after his customers.

    VPS Specs:
    6 cores AMD Ryzen 9950X
    16GB DDR5
    400GB NVMe
    18TB+ bandwidth @ 10Gbps
    Eygelshoven, NL
    Monthly billing

CPU verified via CPUID before committing — family 26, model 68, Zen 5 Granite Ridge. Real 9950X, no games. KVM guest on 9950X host. Geekbench 6: 2531 single / 7989 multi — https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/17600787

    Disk: 249k read / 97k write 4K IOPS at QD64. Sequential 5.3GB/s. Memory bandwidth 37.5GB/s. AMD-V exposed — nested virt available.

Network: 9.14Gbps to Amsterdam, 6.55Gbps to London, 8.20Gbps to NYC. 4ms RTT to Cloudflare, 7.67ms to Google. Transit through Frys-IX to Google in 5 hops.

Highly recommend reaching out to @rsk directly if you need a custom plan. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

That's great! How much does it cost?

    Glad you made it.
Genoa (EPYC) was not 9950X (Ryzen) Competitor
But still not as extreme as my experience

    9950x vs 9900x vs 9700x,
Yet these highend still an issue for my needs.
    From VDS, Expensive $10++ , $15++

And the final key was just the only slice of cache VPS Provider gave :)

    lscpu --cache

    ./Coreinfo64.exe

@rsk, please add another hypervisor :)
    Yesterday, Monday was disaster.
Not just network impact, performance also dropping as much as 30%, worse than usual ...
Hopefully today as stable as normally should

Please pm me your vps, let me have a look. Sometimes we get abusers on the node, but our alerts pick them up. Thanks!
