[Warning] Consider Carefully Before Using DartNode – Delays, Missing IPs, and Refund Issues
Hello,
I want to share my experience with DartNode, as it has been extremely frustrating and honestly quite unbelievable.
I will try to keep everything factual and organized.
📅 Timeline of Events
Feb 16, 2026
I purchased a batch of AMD VPS servers.
✅ Everything was provisioned normally without issues.
Feb 24, 2026
I purchased another batch, this time Intel VPS servers.
❌ These servers were NOT provisioned for over a week.
Feb 24, 2026
I opened my first support ticket asking about private networking, which is critical for my use case.
Following days (unknown exact time due to no visible timestamps)
My ticket was reassigned to another staff member
No clear response time available
I waited over a week
Still no servers provisioned
➡️ At this point, I requested a refund
Later response (after a long delay)
I received a reply saying:
The ticket was assigned to a staff member who was on PTO (vacation)
This was honestly shocking. My issue was delayed because it was assigned to someone unavailable.
I replied again requesting refund
Ticket response delay:
Support replies were taking ~168 hours (7 days) each time.
Later – Staff Daniel replied
He told me I must cancel the servers first in order to receive a refund.
My response
I agreed and requested:
➡️ Cancel ALL servers (I had many, so this was the simplest approach)
Later – Staff Zack replied
He insisted that:
➡️ I must manually cancel each server myself
🚨 Major Issue – Unable to Cancel Intel Servers
When I tried to cancel:
✅ AMD servers → can be canceled normally
❌ Intel servers → LOCKED status
Details:
No IP assigned
No cancel button
Only shows: “locked”
I never even logged in via SSH
I replied in the ticket:
➡️ “Servers are locked, I cannot cancel them – this is clearly not my fault.”
Later response
They said:
Servers were suspended
Locked status was “cleared”
(No idea how long this reply took again…)
💸 Refund Offer (Unacceptable)
They told me:
➡️ Refund = $9 per server
BUT:
I paid $24.99 per server
I don’t even know when (or if) the servers were ever actually provisioned
No usable service was ever delivered
At this point I honestly started to question whether the servers were ever properly deployed at all.
🤯 Final Situation
❌ No proper provisioning
❌ No IPs (even though IPs were charged in invoices)
❌ No usable servers
❌ Cannot cancel (locked state)
❌ Refund denied
And now today I am told:
➡️ The services have already expired at the end of billing cycle
Let me be clear:
👉 I NEVER received IPs
👉 I NEVER used the servers
👉 I PAID for IPs (confirmed in invoices)
👉 I waited through extremely slow ticket responses
👉 The issue was dragged until expiration
❓ Key Questions
Did DartNode actually review this order properly?
How can services expire when they were never usable?
Why was I charged for IPs that were never assigned?
Why were tickets taking 7+ days to respond?
⚠️ Conclusion
This experience includes:
Extremely long provisioning delays
Missing IP allocations
Locked services with no control
Very slow support responses (up to 7 days)
Refund avoidance by delaying until billing expiration
I am posting this to see if others had similar experiences and to get some visibility on this situation.

How many server is it?
TLDR. i am not reading all of that
total 17 servers
6 amd server
11 intel server
At this point I’m not sure if I am talking with an AI model or with an actual human. Another AI slop post
@DartNode
The fact that they're slow is nothing new
AI loves emoji
I feel like they're just too small, have serious fundamental issues and cannot keep up with their growth and demand.
Hell it took way too long to provision a promotional dedicated server when I tried almost 2 years ago that I asked for a refund as well.
Nothing has changed since BF. My $13.99 deal took over a month to provision, and ticket TATs stretching past a week was the norm back then. Their billing and provisioning are a total mess—I’ve seen multiple reports of refunded VMs still running and duplicate nodes being assigned. They clearly still haven't fixed the internal chaos. All I got was a tiny credit for the wait. Same old story. Curious what others who were in the same boat got for compensation? Just trying to compare notes.
I’m sorry — I just used GPT to help organize my conversation flow. I tried to describe it myself, but it was quite complicated, so I had GPT help refine it.
I’ve had similar issues and no ip assigned no answer to ticket. They won’t give me a refund just account credit?? Why would I want account credit. So I just have to take a loss and move on.
When using AI just ask it to not use any emoji and say you will post on a forum and keep it short. So it wont write an essay.
The issue is not you are using AI, its the slop it generates
I even doubt whether they actually powered on the servers. I think they may have just rendered different CSS elements for different customers. It’s possible the servers were never really started at all, and they used this to deceive us and take our money.
Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll address the emoji issue later on — it really does affect the readability of the post.
You forgot to add, "cut out useless crap".
Not for me. You're training it wrong.
