Looking for VPS With Unlimited Bandwidth In EU.

MonocleMonocle Member
edited April 10 in General

I'm looking for a VPS with Unlimited bandwidth (no FUP) in EU to solely host MTproto proxy for Telegram.
Any location in EU is fine.

  • Nothing too fancy in specs
  • 1Gbit port
  • Budget is ~$30 (a bit flexible)

The cheaper the better.

    Why vps, grab KS-LE-1 13 euros/month

  • OVH is usually recommended in these cases to be honest.

Maybe Netcup if 60 TB is fine (2TB per day) and Ionos is a good one too

Also someone please create a rule as to if budgets are monthly or yearly, so like is this 30$ monthly or yearly?

Asking 30$ yearly for Unlimited bandwidth 1Gbit (no FUP) is like you want to buy aeroplane (an actual one, not toy :) ) for 100 bucks.

lol fair point, 30$ can be a bit too low but there are some good chill vps providers. I feel like some might be doable and I like to push things to know the best deals xD but yea 30$/yr for strictly no fair use policy is very hard*

Personally I like my 7$/yr 10tb/month egress, I don't think that you need more than this tbh.

to be honest, this is another interesting offer https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/214414/unmeteredlove-smokyhosts-valentines-day-special-unmetered-bandwidth-40-recurring-discount#latest

    @SmokyHosts

Also, pinging @xHosts @layer7 (50 TB egress per month which is almost nice for most usecases) and @MatthewM (I think loclix is also nice in unmetered bandwidth, I am not sure)

OP these are some good providers if you are okay with some fair use policy from my understanding. You can also go with smokyhosts unmetered-love.

And before you do and you might wish to support me lol, just message me so that I can create an affiliate link that way I can make a 10% or something if you like my feedback xD

Monthly of course. I don't think anyone would give 1Gbit/s without FUP for 30 yearly.

Would 50Tb/month egress be okay with ya mate or is it strictly no FUP?

Because if not, then OVH is your best choice.

Currently on Layer7 with the 50TB/m, Great but I'm looking for strictly no FUP.

Like mentioned OVH for reliable unmetered bandwidth. You can go with others but likely to hit their fair use policy.

Do you feel like you can pay the amount yearly, if so, Smokyhost deal is a bit nice

And if you wish to pay monthly, then OVH is the best :-D

Also if I am not mistaken, if you can raise your budget just a bit, then Hetzner auction boxes have 10 Gbps speed if I am not mistaken.

    Hope this helps.

I am seeing Bandwidth 10 Gbps @ 10TB on your website, friend.

So @cloudblast can you talk more about it how things are unlimited bandwidth then, Is it like 10GBPS for 10 Tb and then 1 GBPS unlimited bandwidth or?

It clearly says "10 Gbps @ 10TB" on your website. Can you clarify?

In order to ensure optimal performance and reliability for all our users, we monitor the usage of system resources such as CPU and network bandwidth. If we observe consistent and excessive utilization of these resources over an extended period, which may impact the performance or stability of our services, we reserve the right to implement throttling measures or impose limits on your account

yea get yourself a KS or one of their VPSes. Most provider will not allow you to max out 1Gbit like that especially on a VPS due to most vps node are limited to 1Gbit or 10Gbit.

Other than OVH, I would look at @xHosts they are having a easter sale for 2Gbit with Limited Bandwidth and after you use it all. The speed will go down to 1Gbit unlimited afaik which is insane.
Not a measly 100mbit speed limit or even some with 10mbit.

I've been told by support that it's subject to fair use unless I pay 100 euros a month for a dedicated port. So probably not.

The fair-use policy is pretty much to make sure that people aren't hitting the port 24/7 at full speed, in that case sure you'd need a dedicated port.

I'm not sure what your use-case is here? If you're hosting anything normally there's no way you're getting attention from our team over the traffic policy.

Mentioned in the post. MTproto proxy for telegram. Nothing else. shouldn't hit the port at full speed that much.

Yep that is why I thought of posting, this should be more than ok, we're also even more flexible on instances without DDoS protection, just get in touch and let me know if any plan interests you specs/pricing-wise

  • Hey @matthew18_ does loclix have referral system? I mean if @Monocle does end up using Loclix, I would appreciate it if I can perhaps create a referral if you don't mind?

Also I suggest making @loclix account if possible as well, I had tried to ping you @Matthew18_ but had accidentally pinged someone else earlier which explains the confusion as to how you didn't get the ping when I tried doing it first time.

Yes you can activate an affiliate account which gives you a referral link, if you bring some user that wants to use the referral but forgets to, we can also link it manually afterwards.

As for the account, I did think about that but not sure it makes sense at this point, I'm the only POC here on LET anyway.

Oh that's good to hear, so suppose @Monocle buys the server and you can see that I referred it, then you can manually credit me referral later even if they might not use an affiliate link correct?

That sounds good! I wish more providers could do that, actually. I recommend lots of providers but Its an hassle to create an affiliate for each one of them so yeah, +1 nice work in the manual affiliate part.

Affiliates get a recurring 5% from the referred orders. You can then payout at min. 25€
