    Welcome to private, powerful email.
Aster Mail is quantum-safe, end-to-end encrypted email that protects your inbox and defends your right to privacy and freedom.

    Encrypted mail
Your email holds everything personal to you. Aster Mail end-to-end encrypts all of your emails and generates all keys locally keeping your keys yours, with the portability you need.

Signup now (ref) for a new account 😎

Free account currently offers 10Gb storage and 5 aliases (noref)

Nothing says “private and secure” like dropping a ref link under the ad copy. That somehow makes it feel even more like a honeypot.

what an honest review, barely any info but at least it has the referral link shown right under it

    Aliases don't work.

The graphics are a bit dark...

  • I signed up then tried 3 times to send a message to my gmail ‏but every time got "internal error occurred...".

As expected the message never arrived (I also checked spam folder just in case).

  • Always try those new services using a disposable email....

That is one of the Addy.io (and similar services) features that I really like.

Random strong unique password+ disposable email.
My testing was done sending to a second disposable email, all gone to either spam box or even to oblivion....

I wanted to check if the aliases worked, but the service stopped working completely. 😂

They tried to take support@ from me! Sadly, I can no longer receive mail there, I can send though.

@yoursunny I have replied to your request

Zero so far don't bother about it 😂

Also if I were you just signup for an account and forget about it, come back again in a few months/years when it got more matured or if it's gone, good riddance!

After a long time, I revisited AsterMail, and boy, has it improved so much.

The web interface feels much more mature now, and it loads way faster and more reliably than before. They’ve even added mail rules (filters), inbox categories—which I immediately turned off because I don’t need them—and a bunch of other improvements.

They’ve also changed the referral system to give you extra storage instead. So if you’re interested, feel free to use my referral link below.

    https://app.astermail.org/invite/XH2Z9G8S

Get 1 GB of storage for every friend who joins

Your friend gets 1 GB of extra storage too.

  • How is deliverability?

  • How does this compare to atomicmail.io ?

    its look like skiff

  • I really liked what I saw on Astermail's site but after some Reddit digging this created a bit of concern, that the security is well below their claimed level.

As much as i hate the US and the complexity around keeping it (Google EU, Billing from Ireland, No CC, Treasury dept...) i just cant move email from Google, i just dont trust anyone hack wise i guess. Maybe i should reconsider though.

Oh, yeah definitely avoid them then. That's a train wreck.

  • When they first being shilled everywhere, my gut tells me its a vibe coded slop. Many people on reddit etc also shared the same notion too. Glad i didn't fall for it. Its either traditional plaintext mail, borderline snakeoil proton tuta or you self encrypt via gpg. And they all does leak something, email aren't meant for full privacy nor anonymity.

    I fully recommend this service.

It add "Secured by Aster Mail" when you compose a new email, so it is totally secure.

If anyone want to get in touch, you are welcome to send nudes to [email protected].

(Please no gentleman vegetables pictures. I am allergic to nuts.)

That's a rip-off anyone can do that. I secure my emails by writing "secured by forest" and I've never been hacked and I never had to pay for Aster Mail.

Asters UI/UX is fantastic, no negativity on that. But it is like turd covered by candy wrap.

Proton and Tuta are snakeoil ?! but if I pay for Premium, is it Premium snakeoil ? :)
