Hello, is HostUS still available? What about their extra bandwidth pricing? :)

All HostUS VMs & 2222 JP are still available.

Not sure about additional bandwidth pricing, maybe @AlexanderM can confirm?

thx, i sent a dm to request extra info about HostUS

Is 2222 JP's bandwidth measured in+out? Do they allow an increase?

Measured in+out yes, you can buy packages onetime for something like $15/1TB which is insane. You can't upgrade the base package.

Bandwidth in APAC is more expensive in general, this shouldn't be surprising.

I mean even OVH limits it's bandwidth for VPS in APAC to a maximum of 4TB. It's insane in the comparison to bandwidth across the globe, yes, but not in comparison with many other providers in APAC

Not saying otherwise, but for such price just get a new VPS and get the extra compute on top (which in most cases you'll actually get more bandwidth).

For xTom IJJ/SoftBank I can understand the price, but not for Leaseweb transit, to be honest.
I believe it's $3/1TB extra in EU/US which is also hell of a lot IMO.

I understand providers can't just go around and get free bandwidth or buy small packages from their upstreams, but I believe at that point it's not worth for either of us.
This isn't taking into equation that I'm certainly sure most providers oversell their bandwidth because most customers don't even use over 20% of their allocation a month.

See @Beanzy if Windows is a hard requirement for you there shouldn't be any problems unless your personal configuration has ED enabled.
