Realtox Media
Does anyone have any experience with @RealtoxMedia? Mostly wondering why they’re banned here because I was looking at their offers but I guess that their old threads have been deleted.

IIRC they were the ones running a competition promotion and then "won" all the prizes themselves so they didn't have to pay out. Not surprisingly, people got a bit pissed off, especially as they didn't even need to run a promotion like that at all, other than they wanted people to spam the thread to keep it on the front page.
Im almost 9 months with them, have 10 euros/year plan. Using it occasionally for VPN. No problems so far..
That sounds like @Fourplex
They posted twice, spamming twice, both in June 2024
They left us no choice but to show them the door
As far as I know, they never asked why
Kind of sad because they otherwise seem to be a decent provider
my experience with them is bad. i had packetloss on the vps i had ordered and their support was not helpful at all. to this day i dont know what the issue was. i dropped the server after the month i had already paid.
They were really toxic.
Ah, could well be!
The good experience. Cheap and fast VPS. I do recommend.
I recently purchased a server from them for 10 euros per year in Velbert, Germany. The server was excellent, and all tests passed without a hitch. However, immediately after purchasing it, I couldn't connect to it via IPv4, and ping via IPv4 also didn't work; only IPv6 was available. Tech support responded within four hours, and the problem was resolved.
I think I would have continued using this server. It's a really good server.
But for some reason I couldn't understand, the speed between me and this server dropped to 1-3 Mbps every evening. This only happened in the evening. The speed with other servers from other hosting providers in the Netherlands was excellent, so it wasn't my internet provider's fault. So I submitted a cancellation request, and literally half a day later, I received a full refund, no questions asked.
I got 2x VPS's, 8€/y, they are fine, support is responsive, they even migrate if to high CPU steal, can't complain.
I didn't even noticed that they got banned.
Do they have a chance to come back?
Uptime from the last 3 months. Not the best, not the worst. But for €8/year, I'm paying for it, it's perfect for hosting small things like a VPN, etc. I wouldn't host my webpage on it, though.
Sometimes, every second or third month or so, the VPS just dies and needs to be booted from the control panel.
For $8/y. No complains at all.
