Update on my previous post(I have got the refund and donated it to orphanage),Also check spam folder

So one of my past posts had gotten heated, This post isn't about that heat but a reflection on all of that and finally getting a refund and I have donated it to orphanage (to Indiahope using justgiving using usdt solana)

So one of the things that I want to say is that, What had happened was that I feel like I may have had fomo for getting @PulsedMedia's deal and I used allbridge to convert my usdc polygon to usdt solana but what happened was that there became a deficit of 60 cents and the funds were not shown within the transaction sheet so I got worried/panicked and I wrote a message within the forum explaining my issue.

Now I was extremely stressed by all of this during that time, and some of the response made me feel unheard during that time which stressed even more. I had admittedly sent way too much comments than I should've sent maybe

Another point is that some accused me of being MJJ or anything, I mean, I have been part of this community for sometime now and it just felt a sad of these baseless accusations when I have tried to be part of this community.

I feel like, personally, I am gonna try to buy less servers and I am frugal but I will be more aware if I really need to buy something I guess too.

Now I had contacted coinpayments during that time and I had seen no response from them within my mail,It was just yesterday when I had an exam in between/basically accepted that the money was lost that I was having a late night reading something about crypto which made me remember all of this I then opened my particular mail that I use for buying servers and I then accidentally noticed something.

Holy moly, coinpayments had sent me responses to my messages but they had ALL landed in Spam folder.

It was 2:30 AM yesterday, almost a week-ish after the whole thing, but I contacted them as soon as possible, I gave them all the possible information then and contacted them and at 4:00 Am, I finally went to sleep and when I woke up, I saw that they had given me refund link and I needed to transfer 0.03 sol for refund. Also their refund system allowed me a custom account so It prevented my money from being permanently lost in allbridge!

After converting a $ worth of usdc polygon to solana on my solana account and then sharing 24 cents worth of that to coinpayments, I had gotten the payment back.

Now, this all happened just today. I am happy that I have gotten my money back :-)

But I had been thinking about what to write as one of the things I like is closure. In some sense, I feel like my responses/previous comments weren't about the money itself, but the closure, either give me my money back or have it be lost, but leaving it in limbo makes me feel claustrophobic.

Now I also don't have depression or anything but yes I have been part of some support groups when I was struggling through somethings. I think that I just have a very core focus on bringing closure/peace to any conflict.

Also, after getting the money for a few hours, I have been thinking about what to write this post about. I will be honest that a lot of the things had happened simultaneously in my life (exams approaching) and so many other things that added to the stress previously.

I feel like I have learnt an important lesson in all of this to by default, see spam folders as well or ocassionally see it, it might as well be worth it.

Now within that post as well, things had talked about Indian charity/indian orphanages. When I had won 100$ of my money, It was also on a bit of randomness basis during that time, So I had prayed to god that I will give 8-10$ to charity. I then forgot about it, tried doing it with that VCC but yea nothing really happened.

Now after my again insistence in that post to donate, I finally just decided to donate all the money that I had gotten by the refund to orphanage (India Hope) using their JustGiving option which supported USDT solana. (11.13$). I finally feel like I have done what I had promised to God/universe long time ago.

I will also be honest that I had said that I was in contact with an orphanage, Well not exactly, I really wish for that but with the stress of exams and life, I really wasn't able to do this, I hope that in the future I am able to help in local oprhanages

I think that, man, I am really privileged. I have gotten parents who, yes have flaws, but they care about me and love me and they try to give me a lot of the things that I might ask for money-wise whether in schooling/food etc., So it feels sad to me seeing that Orphans sometimes have noone in their world :[

I have tried donating to orphanage because I just really don't know, I just want them to be happy too.

I think that I didn't need the service, it was definitely a bit of Idling and fomo issue which I feel like something lowendtalk might resonate with too.

Also who would I be if I suggest others to donate their hard earned money and not do the same as well.

(the crypto account I donated to: https://solscan.io/account/HCXkq14G3L67nS3vk1p3ZtYLPcZx92Dyce4dKG9iGLYV)

Feel free to ask Indiahope about my donation or any concerns if you wish to donate to them as well. I am just sharing this to 1) Check spam folders, 2) Try to not get into Fomo of servers, 3) Try to donate to charity even just a few dollars

I feel like I just want to be honest, I have many flaws and I genuinely want to grow as a person. I am learning new things everyday and I am grateful for that and I am grateful to how in the end the refund finally happened. I feel like I had no issue with donating to charity as well because I had already accepted that the money was lost, so now I just feel happy that now I have donated the money whatever I had gotten from refund myself to an orphanage. I hope to become in future a person competent enough who can make more money to donate even more. I just want to do some good before I die who knows how many years from now.

If anyone wishes to donate to Indiahope : https://www.justgiving.com/charity/indiahope?utm_source=CL&utm_medium=DT

I saw a photo by artemis II of our planet earth. It looks so beautiful from space, I hope that we humans can have it just as beautiful from being on this planet and forgive each other and just try to make a better place for all of us.

have a nice day to anyone who has read my post so far, I wish for y'all to have a better future, my friend and I hope that I can instill some hope that things can get better in life, Here's a hug to everyone  and I hope that we can all sacrifice our differences and try to make the world better in our own way.

John, I think that more than anything, I think that one of the conclusions is that when something like this happens, an advice from the outside which might feel obvious becomes really hard to implement. In some sense, if you know me, i didn't intend for making so much drama either, it just happens sometimes (:

And I feel like one of the things that we can all learn from all of this is that if there is anybody else who could be in a position like me, then as a community, instead of just saying them to be patient, I feel like it can be beneficial to also atleast suggest them once to check the spam folders. I feel like it can be more helpful than sometimes.

    Have a nice day.

That's entirely too much text to read friend but I get the sense everything worked out so I wanted to express potential mild contentment at the perceived resolution of all associated circumstances.

Sigh. Just comment on their sales thread with a one liner with a warning to others.

    Long post does nothing.

Don’t bash the forever. That’s annoying. I do 12 months to make sure I’m heard if they hassle me for a refund and fail to deliver on basic commitments on day 1. Contract law. I’m not having any other convo.

You’ll notice not many hosts are this difficult here. Most are reasonable. The new ones pinch Pennies and learn very fast early in their career.

you have to make a tldr twice

Mods should ban him for both our and his mental health. He needs to spend the time he's spent on LET in those support groups or even better, one on one with a mental health professional.

tl;dr Fomo + miscommunications = unnecessary drama. A refund that was thought lost was issued. He donated it to charity and reflected on what went wrong and how to do better next time.

I have hard time expressing myself sometimes so thank you for writing this. I believe the same and thanks for this TLDR, have a nice day @forest

FYI Indiahope website seems dubious at best. For a website claiming to serve India, they do not have an Indian address to start with. Then all charities which receive funds outside of India require registration and approval via Ministry of Home Affairs in India to remit funds to India for social Work and there is no mention of that given how people look for trust . Their Map shows no location and all their photos for various works they did look like stocks. Total Red Flag !
