I am tempted to just go for your 2TB Disk / 2GB Memory / 1 Core $27.68/year offer. However as this will be my first VPS I am still researching.
Until I take the plunge I will not know if it is over or under specified or what functionality the control panel has and so on. I however do not want to sign up and a deal perhaps more suited, cheaper or better is released within days. This is what I usually do!
From some YABS posts I can tell your servers have AES support which is good but I am still unsure if I can mount the ISO image myself and install and configure exactly how I like or whether I need to accept a predefined template.

Here's a clue: put ppls YABS into google AI to find out more about the server. It's dirt cheap. It is what it is!

I can tell you I do have other customers who have made requests if they see a different DediRock deal, and as long as the request is reasonable, I am always able to help out. In terms of mounting a custom ISO image, currently we do not offer that, however we do have many predefined operating system templates in there. Sadly it's only one vcore.
With my hosting experience with serverica,which gives 2 core.
The garage s3 service will eat 70% of one core when working.
So with only one core it is less useful.
