No mention of Dallas & London. Seems like bs to me and them trying to lower their costs by moving people around.
Wouldn't trust their word anymore, this is the 2nd time this has happened.
Should be about 4 months until the migration back based on the last time this happened
Agreed, just a nicely written template. Let's see if others will receive exactly the same answer.
are they even related?
We are all a priority, guys
Regarding a specific timeline for migrating your servers back to HU and PL, we are currently in active discussions with multiple infrastructure providers in both countries, and we want to ensure that the new infrastructure meets our quality and reliability standards before proceeding.
While we are not able to provide an exact date at this moment, we can assure you that this is a priority for us and we will update you in the coming days as soon as we have a confirmed migration window.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Both companies founded by the same person
Backup Server? hmm
Lol, where have you heard that?

Conveniently.. the owner of RARE MOOD AGENCY SRL.. is his wife
https://www.gopixel.eu/
Daniel sold virtono in 2022, and it's not working for Virtono for more than a year, and have just very recently joined rarecloud. The founder of RareCloud is Sorin Curelea.
I mean... idk
https://www.virtono.com/community/internet-and-technology-news/virtono-at-cloudfest-2023-a-journey-into-the-future-of-cloud-computing/
anyway, his own LinkedIn says that he stopped working at Virtono back in August 2025, so he sold the company and continued working for 3 years? interesting to say the least
Just to clarify: RareCloud has no affiliation with Virtono, past or present.
Yes, Daniel founded Virtono. He sold it in 2022 and continued working there until early 2025, so the CloudFest 2023 appearance makes complete sense. He joined RareCloud's team only very recently.
Hiring experienced people in the hosting industry is how you grow. That doesn't make RareCloud responsible for, or even aware of, what Virtono is doing today. I don't see the issue.
Just to be clear, I have never said you guys are responsible for anything they do. However, the evidence doesn't put you in a good place. Too many coincidences and shared names between both companies.
Either way, Virtono seems to be going downhill so Daniel leaving the company must've been a signal.
But rare mood agency srl is owned by his wife isn't it?
At least RareCloud has affiliation with M247 since last year when you expanded to M247 and Daniel joined.
You moved DUS to FRA in M247 right after Blackfriday sales. Not a good sign.
this wasn't even interesting until all the reveals, thanks for the stir @rarecloud
May I ask...how's the refund going? Do you happen to have a Virtono SG vps too?
My Virtono SG 4C8G160G is still having a SG ip and the performance hasn't dropped, but I'm now thinking whether I should be renewing it soon!
I also have SG and it's working just fine. SG isn't affected and still remains in SG.
Regarding the refund, they offered me a full refund for my affected services. I took it and I'm waiting for them to issue it.
They've been around for a while but these recent situations don't put them in a good place. My conspiracy theory tells me that they're trying to negotiate with M247 and this is a side effect of it. Or they're really trying to bring costs down by migrating people to locations where they have more free space/lower prices and consolidate everyone in a few central PoPs (would still not explain how Manchester is cheaper than London though, but who knows, I'm no M247 expert here).
All their locs are with M247 so they must have some good contracts with them. Virtono hasn't stated any reason to their previous incident so I doubt they will tell anything this time either.
I'd say take your own conclusions from the current situation and decide whether you should renew or not. For me it's hard to cancel a huge chunk of servers just because they're very cheap for the locations they offer. I had a lot of VMs in US/AU for other reasons though.
I highly doubt they will disappear or deadpool soon, but they're surely going through something... I'm personally going to keep renewing about 10-15 VMs I have with them. They're not really expensive so it's not going to be a big loss for me. I'd rather take the risk and use it while I can since current prices aren't going down anytime soon...
You have to give them something though, they haven't increased prices, yet.
Sydney is now Miami (same as OP)
Warsaw is now Frankfurt
Budapest is now Frankfurt
London is now Manchester
I have migrated already and only have two baby machines with them but the idea was to keep them in separate locations. Now they are probably on the same rack in DE.
they just ignore tickets, I will move along too, I have 3 boxes with them, I will cancel all of them.
That is what I am worried about, whether they are a sinking ship. I also noticed that @virtono seems to have their provider tag suspended?
Yes, it was suspended because of this thread. They didn't provide clarification here yet I think.
Thanks! Must have missed that. I'll factor that in when deciding whether to renew my VPS, which is real soon.
For a 4C8G160G and 5T BW @ SG location, with a renewal of $45/y is pretty rare though. It's hard to find it elsewhere nowadays, but on the other hand I do not wish to have unanswered tickets when I need support for sure.
Wow, this is definitely pretty rare. For example, I know a provider where this configuration would cost ~$45/2months in Singapore, but tickets are answered quickly and I try to do my best for the support experience to be good
As for Virtono, from what I've heard their Singapore location was not affected by any unscheduled migrations or downtimes so it's good for now at least.
Subtle shark...
