A bit of my baguette R&D.
If you cancel the invoice aka ask for refund.
It sets the server to terminate, this will trigger the server to be unable to get modified by you when the suspension takes place.
Which is about 24 hours from when you request it.
You can, however, remove the terminate from the server.
Within that 24 hours, so prob. extending that window, but I didn't test that.
If you just let these 24 hours pass, you fked.

We can generate orders and pay them later as invoice expiry times are set back to normal.
I think all the refund requests on non lottery winners in the sales pissed them off. Sad that it had to be ruined for everyone.
I don't think that OVH decided by this reason. On the 11.11 sale there was ~1--2 regular configs between the lottery one e3-1270 v6, 32/64 GB 1200/1920 GB NVMe ones in the first-time orders (first 1--2 hours). I think that only the hardware price increasement reduced the chances to win the lottery now.
In 2022 we had near same situation. Energy prices increased highly and there was no lottery. And in 2023 OVH offered KS-LE servers with 2x 480 GB / 32 GB / e3-1245 v2 and provided 960 GB SSDS with full duplex 1 Gbps on IPv6. So when the prices can normalised in the HW and energy market we might got back the lottery chances.
And until that enjoy our upgraded ones. I think that the Kimsufi range exception from the price adjustment is a gesture from OVH to the gamblers. Look for the netcup prices with their root-server range. And look the price-performance ratio for an upgraded Mystery or LE-B. It is very clear that they more and more cheap for their value in this market situation.
I don’t think the majority of lottos are by design by ovh mostly due to certain ranges being put into the pool and not checked, not worth the time to check the hardware on each server for a certain range for the price of only 10€/m thats why we got anything from 32GB 450gb nvme up to 64gb 2tb nvme all within the same range from a certain cpu or certain year model but that’s just a guess
Does BHS ever get storage upgrades? Tried ordering KS-2 three times but all came with standard 4x2TB
