    This is great!

I bought the 3C12G Hamburg plan. Unfortunately, there were no additional discounts beyond the €7.55/month price.

I really like your website and control panel.

love the plans. Great performance of the Turin 9655!

The Network if you have checked, is entirely different compared to Bremen.
My guess, bandwidth is costly in Hamburg, if you need Bandwidth, pick Bremen instead.

Then I miss out on backups 🥲

I prefer having 1 backup minimum on my main servers so that if something goes wrong while working on something (like major software update), I can easily restore back to a healthy version of my server. I've personally experienced this in the past. Backup comes very handy if something goes terribly wrong.

It's 50km outside of Hamburg in Mölln. Would be really interesting to learn what the difference between network quality is though.

    You ping both IP's? Bazinga.
I could analyze it with my "latency-triangulator-integrator-analysator-7560b" or short LTIA 7560b.

    --- Score ---
    20 xx.xxx.80.101
    44 xx.xxx.78.30

Bremen has the better score, with scoring lower latencies compared to Hamburg.

edit: added more nodes, Bremen keeps outscoring Hamburg.

    --- Score ---
    24 xx.xxx.80.101
    50 xx.xxx.78.30

It really depends on your location and how traffic is routed to you. We have clients who get better results with our Hamburg/Mölln location and others who prefer Bremen, it varies. If you're unsure, feel free to test both and go with whichever performs better for your use case.

Oh I am really happy with Bremens performance and routing. Just moving all my stuff over from Netcup to ComputeBox. Your admin panel is also very well made and support is quick, friendly and professional. Absolutely no summer host vibes at all here.

May I ask if the 4000 Ada in the GPU plan is dedicated or shared?

I've used over ten VPS providers, and this one is the most stable and very affordable. I even bought another VPS from them, and I highly recommend it!

    @ComputeBox
what about the CPU cores which comes with 4000ADA. Is the CPU cores shared or dedicated?
I am seeing 6 cores for the initial plan.
Also is the cores, actual cores for hyperthreads ?

backup slots only available for promo plans in hamburg? i dont see it for the other plans in hamburg

Backups are available for all Plans, but only the promo plans currently have Backups included. All other plans in Hamburg can buy Backup Slots&Space on demand.

I remember seeing some backups for NVIDIA 4000ADA plan when I checked last week. Today after buying I found that, there are no backup. what happened ?

The 6 cores listed on the plan are virtual cores. The CPU on our GPU Systems is mapped 1vCore = 1 Host-Thread.

As for hyperthreading: like most VPS providers, we don’t expose hyperthreading to the guest. In a virtualized environment it provides very little benefit and can actually hurt performance

How much is extra bandwidth? Is your firewall coming online soon? Doesn't hurt to ask, any more vouchers? >:), thanks!
