Good Friday and Easter Monday are both UK holidays.
Sometimes there are exceptions, but in general deliveries do not happen.
Ok thanks for letting me know, because UK node, should be Up by April 3, but if it' holiday... we will see.
Hey everyone,
The UK node is already up — not Friday and not April 3rd. You should be able to access your VMs now. The email notifications are going out and the status page is being updated as well. Just wanted to drop the update here for anyone who was doubting the timeline — we got it done.
All affected services are now fully operational, the incident email has been sent, and two weeks of service credit has been added to all impacted accounts.
To recap the timeline:
- Incident began: 11:39 PM on Saturday, March 28 (early AM March 29) <== weekend
- Replacement part ordered: Sunday March 29 <== weekend
- Supplier processing began: Monday, March 30
- Supplier delay notified: Shipment moved from March 31 to April 1
- Replacement PDB shipped: April 1
- PDB received and installed: April 2
- All services restored: April 2
- Total downtime:5 days (including weekend delays and supplier processing delays)
- Total reimbursement: 14 days of service credit
- The compensation provided is well beyond the actual downtime and more than fair for everyone affected.
That said, we’ve seen a number of unnecessarily negative comments throughout this process.
We understand that downtime is frustrating, but the level of hostility from some users has been completely disproportionate — especially considering many of the services on this node are priced at $4.95/year or $6.95/year.
At those rates, it would take nearly 20 years just to recover the cost of the replacement PDB alone.
We work hard to support everyone, regardless of plan size, but we expect the same respect in return.
We genuinely appreciate the clients who remained patient and constructive while we resolved this issue, and those are the customers we value having on board.
Maybe it was intentional LOL. Just think all of them as smug brats
Unfortunately, this is pretty normal for LET. I hope you do not take those comments seriously.
Confirm, uk up again and rocking it!
GG WP
Hello can I get $4.95/year or $6.95/year service on that server in return of no complaining or whining on LET?
No.
This answer is for the no complaining part, right ?
That’s a totally reasonable requirement tbh
I'm sorry you've been having arrogant customers like that. They get an amazing deal and then expect to act as if they're indispensable, doing you a huge favor by paying you the equivalent of an annual cup of coffee. Providers are human. Shit goes wrong for all of us and the most important thing we can do is be patient and understanding, especially for providers who are transparent and understanding themselves.
Hey everyone,
We’re gearing up for another round of deals and we want to hear directly from you.
What are you looking for this time?
And what kind of pricing are you aiming for? monthly or yearly?
Share your wish list, we’ll see what we can put together.
Haha I will sell my kidney at this rate hhahahhaha.
Thank you for the above and beyond service, but drop something insane and I'll transfer this one xD
Storage VPS or VDS monthly or yearly deal?
Excellent work.> @SolidVPS said:
amd vds pls
Europe deals
I was hoping for them as well but price will be much higher than US.
Was there a node reboot in Tampa this morning?
Install Hermes Agent as sell "Hermes Agent" VPS as a service. You will become millionaires (if not already) . The market needs some trusted brands. New providers are mushrooming everyday, but they lack the trust factor , which you already have !
Dedicated servers, dual epyc, big ram , /28 IPv4, LA datacenter1
under $180 will be fantastic
We created a template for it, you should find it now named "Ubuntu-24.04-x86_64-HermesAgent"
Thanks
any dedicated server plans in LAX/SEA? I'd like a 10-15usd monthly one
What kind of Storage VPS are you looking for?
We’re collecting feedback to better understand what customers want in a Storage VPS.
If you’re interested in this type of service, let us know:
Any specific use‑case (backups, media storage, archives, seedbox, etc.)
Thanks in advance
Specs you need:
Bandwidth requirements: 1Gbps, at least 1TB traffic (but more is cool ofc)
At least this was what I was looking a couple months ago. Now I have found somewhat fitting alternative. Hope that was still useful
3+ x 2TB+ HDD, (to get R5, 4 x for R6 would of course be better, but money)
Minimum 2C/4G, veeeeeeery strongly would like to see at least 3 cores, 6 GB RAM or more
Boot drive 40-80 GB.
500/500+, 25 TB+ - if only egress then even better.
Price is difficult. Comparing to others but taking today's prices into account I'd say 4 TB usable on that machine should be below $30. I'd say 6 TB for $30 would be a sweetspot.
EDIT: Location = anywhere on the EU continent. Unfortunately your US machines peer very poorly towards all but one of my EU nodes and I need to decommission machines this month
My dear user, are you somehow incinuating that one can have such a thing as too much storage?
Preposterous!
drop something like this for me
Preferred location(s): Tampa
Specs you need (CPU, RAM, storage size, RAID, etc.): 2 vCore, 2GB RAM, 2TB HDD
Bandwidth requirements: At least 3TB
Your target price range: 30-40$ yearly
