The destination IP is part of Fastly (AS54113) and is currently only being served from Los Angeles. There is no New York presence for this specific prefix, so traffic will naturally route to LA regardless of transit selection.
At this time, the path via GTT (AS3257) is being selected, which is expected and operating correctly. We have confirmed this behavior previously in the ticket.
If you require traffic to remain in the New York metro area, you would need to use a CDN or service that advertises this content from a New York location.
