Im ordering my domain with truehost.com @truehost from tldes.com recomendation. they are very cheapest. its just for starting you know. i have project name kigansec. my own products. just my own personal brand. i have vision to help people and hosting provider for securing their server for free but. i have my own domain before
kigansec.id
kigansec.web.id
The Project are running good side with other providers. its PANDI ACCREDITED DOMAIN.
I know they will say where is the proff we steal? of course i have
Im ordering domain new kigansec.com.
im ordering for $6/year
I know its too cheap and of course i had seen in the review in trustpilot.com. but i think im choose to trust them. and it was perfectly wrong
PAYPAL PAYMENT IM ORDERING AT 1 APRIL GMT + 7 13 hours ago

im asking their support about that

and they forwarded to an ticket

and their answer after 10 hours awaiting domain activation from pending to active

so im checking who own my newest domain name

its shown Name Servers:
ns1.cloudoon.com
ns2.cloudoon.net
ns3.cloudoon.org
and who they are cloudoon.com??
and tadaaa the answer is they steal it

So they stealing my domain kigansec.com where im ordering with them and they register with their other company.
so becareful they scamming cheap domain. nothing free is your domain are known they will steal it.
Im really bad in english. so i hope my explanation are good

Comments
English is fine, you're understandable, but I don't think new glasses would help here.
sorry here sir. I'm sorry it was solved now. Lol

so @truehost just following godaddy strategy? kinda scummy tbh.
if they're not willing to give any further explanation just do a refund, don't let your money left in that platform as a balance.
or chargeback yesterday
I don't trust most of the offers on tldes.com, most of the super cheap unknown registrars listed there do shady shit like this.
But it's possible it was just an error on their side and the support agent is dumb?
It's hard to trust registrar.
Don't put all the eggs in a single basket. Move your domains to somewhere more trustworthy. Don't forget to email the authorities.
"yes hello fbi, this company stole $5.95 from me"... and move what domains? the only one he had was the one he ordered that they took and then claimed was registered elsewhere.

As seen here, it was registered on
April 1 14:38+0000. He paid it onApril 1 11:12+0000. What kind of volume their registrar (and this reseller) handles to the point they had 3 hours plus backlog? Certainly, it is manual operation. If I were @hezekiahshare, I would have register it elsewhere when they failed to registered it within 15 minutes (after payment confirmation).

Their CF nameserver is identical. Therefore, we could say they're both of the same entity or part of.
Front-running is a breach of fiduciary duty. They violated RAA and code of conduct. Because
they're reseller, their registrar should held them liable.truehost.com doesn seem ICANN accredited registrar.
No, they're reseller.
I think it's the default nameserver, yesterday when my friend bought the default nameserver it was also Cloudoon
https://cloudoon.com/who-we-are/
GoDaddy are really greedy. I'm had ordered one domain. It's 2 years ago
They refund my money they take the domain.
I don't know about their support its first time. im still waiting on their tickets update.> @rpqu said:
Its fine didnt need any authorities.> @rpqu said:
from your report i think maybe it was under godaddy? or it just resellers?
yeah.. its really suspicious because they said it was registred elsewhere.
yeah but the support answer are too suspicous.
yeah i had read it. haha
It's resellers of ownregistrar.com (IANA id: 1250). Godaddy's registrar is Godaddy.com llc (IANA id: 146)
So, you should put all of this information to a complaint for ownregistrar.com, then if they're not helpful, escalate to ICANN
i mean, it's possible they 'steal' it - but what would be the point? it's a worthless domain to anyone but you, and they cant really extort you for such a domain, so it seems quite pointless.
My guess is some error of some sort, but even that doesnt make much sense here.
strange!
yeah its really strange. and of course it was suspicious.
im still waiting they clarification.
well, thank you for the proof and explaination. shitty behavior, outright scammy even.
i'd recommend u stick to top domain provider from now on.
Hello the truehost are now activating my domain. i think it just miscomunication here their response

"The domain kigansec.com was purchased by the client but is showing as 'Pending' in the Truehost System. While WHOIS shows the domain registered with Truehost/Cloudoon nameservers, the client received a conflicting email from 'Felix' stating the domain was registered elsewhere and cannot be activated. A human agent (Rahab) has confirmed this was a miscommunication and that the central registry is working to resolve the sync issue."
i think the @truehost must be really fixing their support quality. it can be misleading to their own users.
Now domain are activating and setup my domain.
Still very strange... i think i will move out when my domain can be transfered. because i must be giving many proof about my domain and then they can give my domain back.
Right now . i will be waiting about 60 days after that im doing domain transfer to porkbun.
The conclusion are I have to act fairly about this.
I’m glad my domain can be active, but it requires a long time. I also have to provide all the evidence to them, both from chat (I didn’t have the chance to screenshot the proof of chat with their agent) and from tickets. but their support have a good "Responsibility" for the domain. I cant recomend this provider i think... its good learn from me. and for all the readers.
In addition, the difference in renewal fees makes me think twice if suddenly there is a change in renewal costs next year. this renewal price from ownregistrar.com (where they was registering my domains) about $35/year and truehost are about $11/year

because this words are really tricky for me
"OwnRegistrar do not deal in the domain name directly, but we can suggest you with the prices which you could be charged by your service provider. The charges could vary depending on the number of the years you are registering your domain and also on your service provider. This is not the exact price you would be paying for the domain name."
yeah. its for first time and last time.
So i think it was marked as resolved?
Glad you got the domain
But run away asap @hezekiahshare
yeah i want to.. but.. im stuck with “60‑day transfer lock” hhaaha
Who do they resell?
A domain can't be transferred within the first 60 days after registration, but it can be pushed to another account within the same registrar. In theory, you can open an account with the registrar they use, and then push the domain to that account.
A domain push between accounts at the same registrar usually doesn't require a domain extension and is free.
Yeah
Pray in 60 days nothing new happens 🙏
OwnRegistrar is a well-known domain reseller registrar.
As far as I remember, it is often used by various domain providers such as ResellerClub and ConnectReseller.
These providers are very easy to integrate with WHMCS, which is why many hosting companies that use WHMCS tend to rely on them.
My guess is that there was probably some technical issue that caused the domain registration problem, and that it simply took a long time to resolve.
Issues like this can occasionally happen, especially in systems that operate with a mix of multiple reseller providers, although they are relatively rare.
Still, I’m really glad it was resolved safely in the end.
Do not change the domain information for 60 days.
If contact details or similar information are changed, they may restart the 60-day count from the date of that change.
My rule of thumb for buying a domain is I'd go for real accredited registrar, not reseller. Should be less issue with them for the initial reg. After it was successfully reg, 2nd year onward should be fine to move to reseller if got transfer discount and whatnot since the records already exist with registry.
I fail to see how they gain anything from doing this, you register a domain and they steal it? there is no value in this, the only value would be if they then told you it's available to purchase from that "other guy" and quoted you a price, now in that way they could gain something from this. I fail to see how it works otherwise, this sounds much more like some sort of registration glitch in the front while the API actually made the call, and whom you are speaking with doesn't have access that high to verify it, but again none of this makes sense..
maybe ask to change the title before any more people post without reading the whole thread.
Maybe it's worth renaming thread title, considering above posts? @DP
I had sent the moderator yesterday
Yeah it already sent yesterday
Updated the title and closed the thread.
