VPS (Finland/Sweden) | $5/mo | 10TB+ | 1Gbps | Proxy/VPN use

lionariuslionarius Member
edited March 30 in Requests

Hey,
Looking for a VPS to run VLESS/Xray for personal use. Main requirements:

Location: Finland or Sweden (low ping to Moscow is the whole point), other nearby countries ok too
Price: around $5/month
Traffic: 10TB+
Port: ~1Gbps
RAM: 1GB+
KVM preferred
Proxy/VPN friendly ToS
Prefer providers with no Russian ownership/ties

IPs need to actually be reachable from Russia. Hetzner is out, their ranges are pretty much all blocked by RKN. Same with most big well-known providers. Looking for something with a cleaner ASN that's not on Roskomnadzor's radar.

Crypto or PayPal preferred.

@3K33 (strike.bz) if you consider Poland (Gdańsk). They have RETN upstream.

    https://clientarea.strike.bz/index.php?rp=/store/intel-poland-vps-rdp

Cheapest plan is 4 EUR/mo with 1 core 1.5G RAM and 1Gbps unmetered port (fair use, but 10TB should be fine). They accept crypto and paypal.

Please check if the desired IP ranges are reachable on their LG first, before purchasing as most providers won't give you a refund for network conditions outside of their control (like network being blocked by RKN).

The ping from Moscow could to be as low as 23ms but it seems to vary depending on the source network.

The Baltics have good peering towards Russia generally speaking (Telia has a decent market share in all 3 countries). Their currency isn't very strong either so have a look, I know there are a few providers here (on mobile literally in a tunnel or I'd search lmao)

@zejjnt You can test against MTS infrastructure in Moscow. Here is an example ip: 195.34.41.109
https://lg.mtu.ru/ (though im not sure their looking glass is any good for testing, but you could still ping its ip)

I've been using Tietokettu for some time now, they've had a few small issues but I'm mostly satisfied.

They've got a package for €2.50 but it only comes with 1TB bandwidth but when I asked them a while ago it was possible to upgrade to unlimited bandwidth for €5 (check with them?), that's higher than $5 but maybe worth mentioning anyway.

    PING 195.34.41.109 (195.34.41.109) 56(84) bytes of data.

From my MVPS machine in Stockholm; unfortunately they are not at all price competitive and I'll most likely be leaving them after like 6+ years of service. Outstanding service and all but I'm poor :/

  • As other's says try to find something with RETN.

    VPSSlim EE, SolidVPS-LT (bacloud), UltraVPS-LT (bacloud), UltraVPS-MD, AlexHost-BG, Strikebz-PL.

    VPSSlim is the shittiest one.

Last month I can see pretty sexy peering from MSK to Hostdzire-LSWBNL nodes.

Don't forget about cheburchecking IP range before buying.

    Hi, dear lionarius

This is a little above your budget, but we need to cover the costs.
