Looking for Netcup Piko

FalzoFalzo Member
edited March 28 in Requests

probably a long shot, but... anyone wants to get rid of their legacy Netcup Piko server after the recent price hike?
I would be happy to take over and pay for the remainder and some beer money on top.
transfers are automated, not dependent on support...

  • I have two of the 12€/y Pikos, but the price adjustment is also for already existing VMs, no? I got an email, that the price increases from 1€/m to 1,18€/m after my current billing period

Yes it is affecting those too and I am aware. Happy to take them over despite of that ;-)

Ah come on, you have enough LE-B to play with and cheap Ionos. Just get rid of the Piko idler ;-)

I would have simply gone for more Ionos, but NBG is much better in terms of latency than Berlin, so...

Jesus christ, its not about the amount, its about the location and network.
My KS-LE-B won't replace my Piko.

Hmm, is there any piko that differ than 1/1/30 configuration for 12eur/yr or 1eur/mo? I have the 1eur/mo config, I got an one-year fixed contract and now I have monthly. Decent for the new price too. :D

Hmm, is there any piko that differ than 1/1/30 configuration for 12eur/yr or 1eur/mo? I have the 1eur/mo config, I got an one-year fixed contract and now I have monthly. Decent for the new price too. :D

initially they were 1€/mo with a 12 month contract/billing including an IPv4, but with the introduction of the latest VPS generation back in january or so, they also introduced those "VPS lite" lineup and the Piko has been a part of that since then and for the IPv4 they started charging 0.60 on top. with the recent price increase a regular Piko is going to cost 1.84€ incl IPv4.

I am looking for the legacy ones, which are 1.18€ incl v4 (after increase) :-)

(the regular ones can be ordered directly (ref), so there is nor much need for a transfer...)

THX. Actual piko is so expensive. :D Legacy is a good one for the price.

  • How about this one? VPS Ostern S OST21. I have one idling. It costs 1,67 € per month and is located at Nürnberg. The disk space is 10 GB smaller but it has extra 1 GB RAM.

Well I don't really care about disk or RAM, only about cheap network / location.

I considered the VPS Ostern or 200 G8 as well, but after the increase they'll be 2,10€ (incl VAT), so considerably more even compared to the new Piko lineup.

Thanks for offering, but not really what I am looking for ;-)

Yea fair, its much cheaper than giving Netcup 6€.
However, 1.87€/m for a fk E5? on what planet?

This is fucking Europe, not some Exotic location.
