In the spirit of successful sale, perhaps another Mega 4 Deal like the Christmas one ? I want to get another one in different location :) Can be on Easter ;)

Everything is possible, but how crazy do you guys want it? Market and operational costs are very challenging for all providers, including ourselves right now, so we hope it can stay realistic to current market conditions

EDIT: BTW; switched to EFI, made an R1 with RSTe, reinstalled Debian from netboot. Dunno if that impacts performance because I didn't bench before I did that.

    Waiting for new deals

  • I'd like to know if I can pay extra to increase the hard drive capacity after purchasing a discounted machine? The machine looks great, except the hard drive is a bit small.

99% sure you can't since they are already used. Perhaps if you are willing to pay retail price for a new drive.
    I could be wrong - and I'd gladly be wrong - but I don't think I am.

  • Yes, I guess the price probably reflect the fact that dedis will not be upgraded but let's see.

You’re welcome to ship your own drives, and we can install them for you at any of our USA locations. However, depending on the datacenter and location, remote‑hands fees may apply.

It really depends on the datacenter, as remote‑hands fees vary by location. We recommend opening a support ticket if it’s just for drive changes — our team will confirm the costs and compatibility. Upgrading CPU or adding more RAM isn’t possible on these models, but adding or removing drives is supported.

We released several drops every 1–2 days leading up to the final one in Toronto‑CA. All of them are included in this thread, and we invite you to check it.

  • I think most offers are sold out, especially low end ones, so well done with good sales.
