Im thinking about getting my CCNA. Heard about Cisco Modeling Labs and they need to be installed on a VM. I only got one computer so is it crazy to get a VM host I can use for the Cisco Modeling Labs??

If you can't get a VM, then CCNA is out of reach for you. It is such a low entry barrier... I mean, virtualbox on your PC. If did not thought about that - CCNA not for you.

can't you just say (virtualbox on your PC. If did not thought about that) only and do like normal people give him reason why you need a vm
You can easily prepare for the CCNA using Cisco Packet Tracer - it is a simulator that will run smoothly even on an older computer. CCNA preparation courses on Cisco U and NetAcad are free. If you are looking for a free certificate, you can join the Cisco Incubator program. After completing the program, you'll receive a voucher for a 100% discount on the exam.
If you want you can install CML on AWS/AZURE.
To pass the CCNP, you need knowledge of using physical hardware and some experience. For the CCIE, they are perfectly capable of breaking your hardware on the exam, leaving you scrambling to find the problem.
What CCNA do you want to pass? (Automation, Security, Network)
Good luck with passing the CCNA. If you have the basic knowledge, you will pass on the first try. Just check some dumps from the internet.
Thanx SO much! I'm a bit far from CCNP level, but I appreciate your optimism about my future, hehe. The goal is passing 200-301 CCNA: Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions first then maybe Security.
