Is there a speed radar?
I am sure that you might have some requirements but its worth mentioning that a mail server can work on 512mb ram vps.
Speed radar?
Yep something like this, to check how fast it runs
It is a Hostbrr VM. It doesn't run, it goes Brr!
I want to know where I can find the LG Speedtest website
@d0wn_blog, as in d0wn.biz?

Great to see you're still around, Martin! I still remember your blog from like 15yrs ago
Hope you're doing well
On-topic, checkout @layer7 https://layer7.net/cloud-server
Or if you're not in a hurry, you might want to wait for the next deal from either @berohost @ProHosting24 @ComputeBox @PrepaidHost @dataforest
i created a test order from @layer7 https://layer7.net/cloud-server more than 5 hours ago and no reply or delivery
Hi,
test orders are subject for manual approvement.
Since this is running on the lowest possible priority, waiting 5h is nothing unusual. Even multiple days.
We are anyway not too eager to host mail servers. Thats usually causing issues.
I assume that somewhere in the evening / night of CET the test servers will be delivered, if they are approved.
making potential customers wait for multiple days for a vps when in this day it is almost instant or within hour.
bad for business
Hi,
i can perfectly understand this. Paid servers are delivered instantly.
Free test servers not. Nowadays you can not ( or should not ) just give free services without at least some little rough checking. Thats simply the sad truth.
If this qualifies us for you, then its simply not matching.
Good luck with your search!
you deliver paid servers without configuring the IP address ?
Hi,
for windows, yes.
For linux the primary IPv4 and IPv6 are preconfigured.
For windows you will have to login via noVNC and configure the IPs.
Imagine complaining about getting to test a VPS for free because it takes a few hours, what the fuck.
I can vouch for both L7 and HostBrr, although I only use L7 for storage while I have one compute node and one DA storage with Brr. Both have been amazing during the (aprox) year I've used their services.

I'm guessing that's what you're referring to
@Pig: Real world speedtests between some of my stuff (running "iperf3 -c FQDN.TLD -w 4M --bidir -P 2 -O 4 | tail -n 15 | grep SUM" for each node). All from my HostBrr VPS with the same specifications as offerred above;

Tell me if you want some other metrics or a temp iperf3 server to go against. I could perform the same tests from my L7 machine as well of course, but it wouldn't be fair since that's a slower machine with a completely different purpose.
