My work forces AI tools down our throats but often its either wrong, insecure, or vile. IDK where the ROI is on this shit
It does have its uses, but I wouldn’t vibe code something without having it being fully security checked/tested, AI isn’t there yet if ever to be completely trustworthy.
But then if you know what the fuck you’re doing and not a construction worker you can do wonderful things 🤣

I'm considering rewriting this project, but I'm too lazy—I never really expected to use it in the first place. I started this project because I accidentally lost my three-year-old paper notebook. Using Node.js was a mistake. My Java skills far surpass my Node.js skills, so to achieve my goal (which is now about 50% complete), I should rewrite the backend with Spring Boot. Only then will this project truly be under my control. But for now, it's enough for my basic needs.
