Insane. Y'all showing up with so damn crazy offers.

    v5: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/21984495
    v6: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/3717567

The cpu was changed to i9-13900K at some point, so the performance was even better...

Thanks, that's some really good performance. Really good price to performance ratio. I would've never let it go 🥲

  • The 25€/yr 2c4g 7950x from deluxhost is idling quite nice.
Also at this economy I consider the 35/yr 2TB HDD VPS from novacloud a great deal for backups.
Regarding past ownership I had a pulsedmedia M1000 M seedbox with I think 3tb for less than 60/yr... I kinda miss it.

  • Building a cPanel alternative is a massive undertaking, but a modern Node/React stack sounds much better than the legacy software we’ve been stuck with for years.

Quick question: since you focus on 'built-in' features, how deep is the WAF (ModSecurity) integration in the UI? Is it easy for a regular user to whitelist a rule if it triggers a false positive, or does it still require manual log diving via SSH? That’s usually the biggest pain point for customers.

Forget everything. If you're building a CPanel alternative today, add support for BunJS. Companies are rapidly switching from Node to Bun.

I think Im paying hostbrrr $7 a year for 500GB storage - cant complain at that. I rclone my servers to it.

    1. @HostDZire IN Cloud VPS 4 ( 16g8c200g8t ) which they had for 32$/yr is probably the best deal so far in terms of ram and capacity overall

    2. @NDTN (Greencloud's) 12th birthday sale (1212 LA which had genoa cpu 12g6c112g12t for about 112$/3 years) , this one has the best performance , I also got their 12$/y 3g2c30g1.2t in VN , but it had some network issues in the lastso its basically idling from last few months right now

    3. I also have a ~9$/y VPS from @HostSailor , with genoa cpu - 1g1c30g1t in netherlands , its been great , I use it to self host telegram botapi and a few tg bots (its small but it works great)

    4. Hostbrr - 7$/y 500gb directadmin storage box and 6$/m (or 60$/y) NICE-EPYC BF 2025 (6g2c120g40t) with turin cpu
