HostDime Drama in London, UK - Facility Operator Shuts Off Service

HostDime is a datacenter operator. According to VPSDime (who uses HostDime):
"After relentlessly pressing HostDime for answers, they have finally disclosed the truth behind this extended downtime. HostDime is currently engaged in a contractual dispute with the overarching data center facility.
"Because of this dispute, the facility operator abruptly shut off all power and network access to the server cages. HostDime has informed us that they have tried to reach an agreement with the facility operator over the past 24 hours with no success."

Terrible situation and at a particularly bad time. Does anyone know more about it? Like e.g. why they engaged in a contractual dispute?
I thought vpsdime & hostdime were the same entity, funny.
Money.
Saw this on WHT, terrible https://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1956112
Seems like if I were HostDime I would want to settle this extremely quickly, I highly doubt a DC will abruptly shut it down like this unless there is almost a beef between the two entities.
My guess is a long standing refusal for renewal on an insane price hike for power as most London DCs are doing, and a game of chicken went wrong.
But that's a total guess.
I tend to connect this with the current economic crisis in the world because I don't like to believe in coincidences. Unfortunately small providers and workers always have to pay the bill for greed and corruption of leaders.
