Because the provider (20i) through which we sell these plans has blocked it, and we have no control over that.

@NameBig What's your policy with KYC? I'm considering to use it for incoming email for subscriptions, banking, etc. So, I don't want to deal with sudden suspension over KYC or re-KYC.

Looks like KYC will be enforced after an year or so.

I really don't like KYC, and honestly, doing KYC for a $4.99/year service doesn't make much sense at all. We do have a fair use policy, though. If something suspicious happens, we give the client seven working days to explain what happened instead of banning them right away.

Great. Better safe than sorry. I'd rather not spend time exporting and importing email. The kinds of outgoing email would be my complaints to corps e.g. banks, telcos, etc

Understood. In fact, stackcp has one of the best professional email solutions, with great outgoing limits and deliverability. And soon we'll release a webmail client that is very easy to use and has a lot of features. You can use it with stackcp hosted emails.

  • I see KYC as nonworkable where regulations vary or are non existent in the countries of the provider and the client.
So it can be totally bullshit and misused.
