Disappointing Experience with HostDZire

Btw, as there are multiple cases of "about [e.g. a week] ago Google started to flag my IP/domain/site":
Maybe Google is the "guilty" party. They are known to occasionally change things and/or to come up with new "rules".

Oh, and @HostDZire, the colour of the front bezel on the node my VPS is on is super-important to me!!! Which is why I never cared to ask about or mention it during all the months.
But now, after some big known to be weird corporation said "your front bezel is ugly!" I want you to change the colour to one considered OK by said corp!

Warning: If you say you can't do that, no matter how good your reason/justification, I will open a thread on LET bashing you. Also I'll clearly say that you do not care and even are not interested!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... you're an idiot.

Hmm, idk, wouldn’t expect clean IPs from LSW, especially NL. Assume ‘IPs on all possible blacklists’ by default.

I do not blacklist IPs, nor make such assumptions on LSW (whoever that is)!

Coming from you I take that as a compliment, Mr. "a clean IP is important to me, that's why I didn't check and care for 8 months" ;)

I can be sure that your problem has nothing to do with IP. This may be because your customer downloaded your program through your website address and doesn't trust it. If too many users do this, the website will soon be blacklisted by Google. All you can do now is to delete the download address you have problems with and appeal to Google. Please rest assured that the process is very fast. This problem can be solved in an hour or two.

But why should one have to address to Google? Why Google?

You mean he idled properly. That is how a true LET member idles their service in a suitable manner. A member like this should be spoken highly of.

The rest of us would have just fixed the issue without opening a ticket. A good idler doesn't unnecessarily ticket.

Because they provide a safe website check service people are using. What fucking answer were you expecting?

You visit website A - why does Google need to state their opinion? Who asked it? I assume people don't just pay or setup something on purpose to send all their visits of websites towards Google for feedback and reviews and blacklisting using AI. This is done by default, likely in Chrome browser, with Google seeing, logging and filtering what people visit.

In my opinion this whole thread has nothing to do with HostDZire (or Leaseweb), but more to do with Google and their control over the web aspect of internet, simply blocking domains (and possible cheap TLDs in future because of "unsafe"?). This is how it started with SSL enforcement by Chrome, when to this day not all websites actually need SSL.

On this note I would kindly ask @barbarza if maybe this thread should not be moved to off-topic section by some moderator.

@barbarza Where is the VPS? I have no issue with having a VPS with a blacklisted IP.
If it is anywhere but Manassas, VA In NL is good, can you transfer it to me? I'll pay you prorated plus any reasonable transfer fee.
Thank you for your consideration.

  • Just an update to my case:

A day ago I've submitted my root domain to google for full review and Google removed the unsafe browsing warning within 24H
As such, I also verified that my domain is no longer displaying the warning 🎉
You might want to give it a try (https://search.google.com/search-console)
    Hope that helps!
