Disappointing Experience with HostDZire
I would never have thought I would be doing this, but here goes...
I have a $22/year VPS in WDC from HostDZire which I got in July last year. Specs looked good, pricing was decent so I thought why not? At the time I didn't really have a use for it, but just in case...
I haven't really used it up until now - I mean what would the point of idlers be otherwise? But I had a need to spin up something on a server with a public facing IP, so I thought it would be perfect to use.
When I did get the app up and running on the server and tried logging in to the dashboard, I got a Google Safe Browsing warning: Huge red screen saying beware of phishing/scams on this site. I then checked the IP address and it showed up in multiple email blacklists.
Weird I thought, there has been absolutely nothing on the server public facing until now, and there have definitely been no email services. I actually laughed to myself when I logged in to the server a few days ago as the last login date was in July 2025.
The obvious conclusion and only one that I could come to was that the IP was already dirty when it was assigned to the VPS.
I opened a support ticket asking HostDZire to assign a clean IP address to the VPS. They refused, saying it was not possible. I then asked them to assist in getting the IP address removed from Google Safe Browsing and the email blacklists - they refused this as well.
They sent me a screenshot - attached below - which they said is an excerpt from their Terms of Service, saying that they are not responsible for dirty IPs. This was not in the ToS when I ordered (my father was a lawyer and he taught me to read everything before signing, this would have caught my eye even just skimming the ToS). Nor was it in the advertisement for the server or order flow, I would not have completed the order if I had seen this.
I have previously been a vocal support of HostDZire on LET, however I now have to withdraw my recommendations for them. I would vehemently warn anyone thinking of ordering a server from them, and I will not be renewing my services or ever order from them again.
It is sometimes prudent to give a customer the benefit of the doubt as opposed to assuming every customer is a scammer.
I am indeed very disappointed.

Lemme guess was it the LSW..... Getting off of Google webrisk or safe browsing list isn't hard but mailing blacklists are different things altogether. What were the specs for that deal? i might be interested in server if you are willing to transfer.
Damn blue dino!
You have reminded me that i have a dedicated server with them idling. You were an 'ambassador', that why i got this one.
Ig I'm not renewing.
Wow, brace yourself, they are gona cry and or bankrupt because you are not renewing most cheapest dedi server
This one is a bit difficult since it is your word against @HostDZire word. What I am trying to say is the burden is on you to prove this term did not exist when you signed it. My-dad-is-a-lawyer argument, sadly, is not going to survive.
For $22/y machine I would not bother to even create a thread here but people are different. I guess the only option for you is to swallow this and move on...maybe transfer the server.
That provider partakes in the "post your invoice for double the spam" style of offer threads, what did you expect?
Many providers do that.

Haha, I wanted to post the archive too, nice one. I didn't see it in any terms yet, but the info banner in the screenshot seems to be preset at least back to early 2025. Soooo, maybe not in the TOS, but clearly visible on the shop
This is so ironical because I was just reading about some previous thread of hostdzire https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/206180/updated-hostdzire-leaseweb-vps-multi-location-vps-benchmark-and-review from june 2025 which had positive experience and I had just clicked on lowendtalk home page to find your post as the top post
Truly an ironic situation :)
Anyways, I do wish that hostdzire comments here but also in all regards, just to have more competition in the marketspace, it might be preferable to see some leaseweb resellers too which is still comparatively a bit rare. Leaseweb reselling might take more effort than usual reselling in my opinion.
Sad, but @HostDZire is a Leaseweb reseller who has to cut costs from somewhere. In the end it is just a low-end IP address and one can try requesting a delisting from each blacklist.
Genuine question - if you like all other aspects of the service, why not clean stale listings yourself?
Good point!
This reminds me when i need to go on SpamHaus unlock IPs..
Sorry man, I was hoodwinked
It's not about the $22. I put my name out for them, I need to share so others know this may happen.
I couldn't seem to be able to get it delisted from Google Safe Browsing, previous user must have been up to some dodgy stuff.
Their refusal to answer some clarifying questions in the Chinese New Year thread, and straight up saying they didn't want my business for asking them, told me all I needed to know. They're a middleman who has no control or desire (haha) to do anything but sling as many servers as possible.
Unfortunately, delisting process is almost same from customers and providers POV. Unless you got for example Spamhaus SBL (which has to be resolved by provider themselves - Spamhaus expects communication with whoever processes abuse-mailbox), process is straightforward and requires a few clicks here and there.
However, I am not familiar with Google Safe Browser listings in particular. And I do understand your frustration here - from customer's POV I would expect some cooperation with that, unless you were the abuser (I am not pointing fingers at you).
Yet, as @default pointed out, it is mostly about cutting costs. That's why I prefer to do very limited offers myself
I am with you, I had also big problems with them. Even some "Seniors" here really put me on the "Negatives", but here another proofs, not just me who got disappointed. For the sake of Insanity, we are Customers, we have right to demand the service according to what is LISTED ! Cheating Customers is not a Good Reputable Provider. Not in good manner of human behavior also.
I strongly dislike @HostDZire's "post your invoice for double [whatever]" spam as well but they didn't start that ugly game, RN did AFAIK - and once one provider plays that dirty game, all other providers are all but forced to join.
I also have a Leaseweb WDC VPS and am perfectly happy except for the not that great (but OK) connectivity there. Plus, 4 vCores, 6 GB memory, large-ish disk, very generous traffic volume on a Leaseweb node for about $2/mo - WTF is there to complain about? Its IP is listed on some "bad IPs" list? So what, if one wants that kind of server and a squeaky clean IP and no restrictions, one should be prepared to spend triple the money HostDZire demands.
The somewhat tight/restrictive TOS is a reasonable necessity; HostDZire didn't pull that out of his ass but recognized the need for it due to abusers.
All in all HostDZire stays in my list of LET top providers.
Bullshit. What did you do?
As the admin, it's on you to investigate and review. I would have found out the urls Google flagged to make sure you're not really infected for ignoring a server for 9 months.

Are you even sure it's complaining about the IP and not the domain?
IP addresses are reused repeatedly by their very nature. Unless a provider specifically promises certain IP characteristics, they are assigned randomly by default. This is the case with all providers.
Some providers may assist you in changing your IP address, but this is not a requirement.
The vast majority of providers do not handle such issues.
Although I’m a user myself and find some IP issues that can’t be resolved quite frustrating, I know this is a common problem among service providers,
I know, it's not help in the exist situation.. but..
PS: I haven't any experience with the mentioned provider.
I experienced a similar issue with the aforementioned provider where the server IP was blocked from registry.k8s.io (Google Cloud) immediately after ordering, and I was unable to set up my cluster. The other servers I purchased with them in the same location (and some even in the same subnet) worked fine. I tried reaching out to Hostdzire to raise this issue with Leaseweb, as the Kubernetes maintainers say to do, but was turned away in the same way -- citing that IP reputation issues are solely my responsibility. I was able to work around this by setting up my own mirror, but it left me feeling disappointed.
A VPS for $22 a year. If I’m not mistaken, it comes with 4 cores, 6 GB of RAM, and a 100 GB SSD 25 TB of one-way bandwidth per month.
Do you really think a provider would go out of their way to keep you as a customer with a high-spec VPS costing less than $2 a month?
Furthermore, they resell VPS from a major provider rather than operating their own; they are solely responsible for reselling the service and have absolutely no control over it.
That explains why my websites hosted on them suddenly gives me a big red Google Safe Browsing warning starting a week ago.
I've been using HostDZire since January this year and it was all good (no Google Safe Browsing warning) until a week ago, I thought it was the problem with my domain but now that I read your post, it could be the IP that triggers the warning. However the IP is only used by me, do you mean Google would flag the whole subnet as risky?
Honestly, man. They're not a host. They merely desire to be.
OP / thread owner not mentioned the VM specification.
22 USD can be expensive for a "useless", 'red flagged' VPS / IP by Google Safe Browser from a Provider who refuse to co-operate with a customer.
I mean, that rules blob is plain as day on the order page all the way back to 2023 on every vps page I checked on web.archive.org, so... kinda seems like you didn't read the big red box.
Edit to add: even on the threads where they link directly to the order pages, they do place the "More information and Rules" link that links back to the main page with the rules. Which to me, especially given ops "my dad is a lawyer and i always read everything" stance... kinda makes this feel like op's problem, and not @HostDZire's
In my opinion, on LET where everyone is searching for $7/yr, complaining about vps 22/yr is completely normal
Let's wait for HostDZire to respond first.
Personally, I'm still satisfied with HostDZire.
