Rooky numbers.
my experince happened once a month
quit and start
I don't know a single man who doesn't masturbate. It's just biology. It's like the hair that grows on men and women during puberty.
Porn is evil, of course. But it is perhaps an outlet for many singles, which are now a lot in the civilized world. Also, porn helps people who lose libido due to bad ecology, poor physical condition, or simply due to age.
No it's not. There's a lot of misinformation about porn from religious nutjobs who want to demonize it, as shown earlier in the thread. (I am not surprised at all that user quickly devolved into transphobia and racism, glad to see the mods boot them)
I am an atheist and therefore I cannot give examples from the Bible, the Quran or the Torah. But I have heard that in all these religions, masturbation is considered a sin. Therefore, if you are a believer, you can understand that masturbation is a sin.
They must not have 12" dongs that understabily hurts.
That's the right answer.
Awkward talking to you, then. Especially for you father in law and male relatives. Creepy AF.
Why quit porn? I love it. Even though I don’t use this app, if my data ever leaks, I just hope they categorize me under the 'Absolute Unit' section.
Do people do such sins? I thought they had stash of porn just for fun to watch it.
Porn is the lesser evil. Because the alternative for teenagers and adult with raging hormones is sexual intercourse with the opposite sex. Often, married couple have mismatch on the timing and frequency. So, with porn :
That's why girlfriends and wives should know that porn is better than cheating (unless it's ***)
Of course. I'm not a prude, and I don't feel entitled to judge anyone for masturbating.
For every "religious nutjob" who says porn is harmful for religious reasons there's a feminist or psychologist or sociologist right behind him saying it's harmful for psychological or sociological reasons.
It's overstated by all sides but it's not something that I'd say is a great social positive.
"The Bible" is not a religion. The faiths that use it (Judaism, Christianity) have varying views about masturbation. I can give you examples of Christian denominations that would take either side. The Bible per se actually says nothing about masturbation.
You cannot supply statistics to prove these assertions.

Regrettably, other people make a fuss over it. Well, it does lower fertility rate, which is good for poor people who did sex for dopomine. But, this is bad for people who banked on poor people reproducing beyond replacement rate
I'm going searching for @Rubben 's info
sure lets goon together after you find it
Again, I am not religious, I am an atheist. Therefore, I do not know these and many other terms and conditions. This is my personal opinion, based on how this issue is presented in literature and cinema. I may be wrong, but I am only expressing my point of view.
unrelated but happy to report simpcity is back online
Beyond the links kindly provided by rpqu that refute the porn is harmful narrative, it is very interesting to dig into the origins of the anti-porn "science". If you ever want a fascinating modern day true conspiracy, looking at the amount of money religious organizations pour into pseudoscience (and lobbying, etc) against porn is fascinating.
I can google, too.
Are you really saying that porn is never harmful? Or is it a case more like alcohol? I know people who drink and they're worthless drunks. I know others who have an occasional glass of wine.
Doesn't mean that alcohol is a net positive in society, or that we wouldn't be better off if that chemical didn't exist.
Ditto for gambling, tobacco, marijuana and other addictive drugs, etc.
So, as you put it, porn is evil.
Another who believes porn is evil. Seems like it's quite a popular opinion. Why should we have evil in our society?
Teens masturbated long before porn existed, for hundreds of thousands of years.
Tell us your age without telling us your age. Too young to know skin mags you got from someone's older brother.
Of course, but that only means that they found something interesting not only in Hustler:) We didn't have porn in the USSR at all. So it was enough just to look at a magazine with a pretty girl, even if she was fully dressed. A person has a fantasy; they're not just a monkey with a big cock.
"Yeeeeeeeah your mom threw away your best porno mag."
- The Beastie Boys
People today can't even relate to the struggle.
Russia is like Kentucky, can produce but not consume. Russia sure has a lot of porn for not having porn.
He said "didn't have porn in the USSR."
I had a conversation once with my ex-father-in-law, who was born in the USSR, and he said that when communism died, porn was suddenly available and it was novel, so @rustelekom is probably right.
when i was teenager there was no internet in my country, even there was no mobile.those things was rare and too much expensive. skin mags was also rare. guess my age 🥱
I was talking about the USSR, not Russia.
@xvps
It's also a popular opinion that homosexuality is evil (it is not, of course). Lots of opinions are not grounded in logic.
Teens also committed sexual assaults for hundreds of thousands of years, and the evidence shows that pornography reduces the frequency of such acts. I don't think anyone was trying to assert that pornography is necessary for men to masturbate, which is what your statement would be an effective rebuttal to.
While I may disagree with some of the excessive commercialization of porn (or the commercialization of any form of entertainment), I also believe that consenting adults should be allowed to record and publish what they wish.
