Which Office software do you use?
Which Office software do you use?
Microsoft Office
LibreOffice
ONLYOFFICE
Softmaker Office
WPS Office
Another Office software package? (Which?)
And why did you choose what you did? (Technical superiority; lower cost; open source; something else.)

I use onlyoffice because its free and has excellent compatibility with MS Office used in my university. I use google suite too when I need to work with others but it happens rarely maybe once or twice a year !!
Ms office.
Others are OK but i find the interface not appealing.
Google workspace/docs.
I usually work with a lot of people, and most of them already use google docs.
It works and its easy to use and i can access it anywhere.
Office 2007.
MS Office.
All alternatives good until i want to print the document, the page setup that i set before in the MS seems broken. I better export to pdf before print the document instead use them to maintain the page format.
oh, you should add freeoffice dot com to the list, a very good MS office compatibility from my experience
Good to see so many fans of LibreOffice.
office ltsc 2021, i only use excel though, and I dislike it, but dont care enough to use something else.
I heard the apple spreadsheet app is fine for most things though.
FreeOffice is the light version of Softmaker Office.
I had Microsoft office. Because the school that I'm teaching requires me to use it.
Geany
MS office
i bet 99% people here don't know what WPS is
I used ms office at beginning, due to work I had to use Google workspace most of the time. Now I have totally totally shifted to Google workspace, but sometimes I use ms office to edit downloaded files.
Mostly - Google Docs
Sometimes - MS Office
Rarely - Collabora Office
MS Office + Onedrive is hard to beat IMHO at home on a Windows PC.
And that's what my work uses too.
I have been considering switching to an European alternative, and Softmaker does look interesting but the integration of Office and Onedrive is too comfortable...
MS Office 365 is great, except Outlook
Gnumeric + AbiWord + Sun NetBeans
like 2005 never ended
MS Office, if it comes bundled for free, if not, I just use LibreOffice or office.com in a web browser, same as Google Docs(rarely used), gets the job done.
that's a great fetish you're into. the '90s and 2000s were the best, too!
Anyone use WordPerfect in another life?
Lawyers still buy WordPerfect.
I just use Google Docs, have for many many years after MS Office. Mostly Docs and Sheets. The nice thing about Docs is you can export as PDF too, then if I ever need to, I edit the PDF or password protect it with NitroPDF Pro. But I use Google Sheets every week.
We know!
We used WPS in MS-DOS.
The editing interface is text only, not WYSIWYG.
To see the result, you must select Print Preview menu.
The printer paper is a roll with holes on both sides.
You print the height of the document and tear it off.
I use Microsoft Office 365.
A Family plan can be shared with 6 people, each one of them Would get full office package + 1Tb of OneDrive storage.
That is $76 a year (buying in BRL and converting to USD), or around $13 for each person for one year of OneDrive 1Tb + Office 365)
Sure, I'm leveraging the lower price in Brazil and the exchange rate, but even in Canada it can be found in the older pricing with no CoPilot crap that would be about the same value.
notepad.exe
a hand written note book
I use Microsoft Office on my company Windows computer, and LibreOffice on my personal Ubuntu computer at home.
LibreOffice is great!
trying not to use any M$ office product, not because it is M$, but it is still making horrible formatting nightmares, but have a free e5 license, so I kinda use it.
On mobile more WPS office, but it also makes some strange things sometimes or displaying not correctly etc.
I prefer text editors and/or markdown.
ms office, libreoffice, and sometime google doc
