You don’t always have the option to pay with crypto directly, because most stores still only accept regular card payments. Also, a user may already hold crypto, and in that case paying with it through a card is much easier than first converting crypto into fiat and then withdrawing it to a regular bank card. It’s simply a more convenient way to spend existing funds in everyday situations.
If someday the government of your country passes a law blocking all funds on your cards, how will you get out of the situation? Most likely, you will simply disappear and stop responding to messages. There have already been dozens of cases when someone gets the idea that this is money laundering. Crypto is unstable, and during price surges, restrictions will begin. A fee for each movement.
Also, as far as understand, there is no mobile phone registration and, accordingly, no transaction confirmation codes via SMS. That is, anyone with a stolen card can perform any actions without restrictions. In many countries, it is impossible to pay for something online without a registered phone number to receive an SMS. How will you get out of this situation?
3.2% DEPOSIT FEES? AM I READING THIS CORRECTLY??
DAWG, WHAT THE FUCK?? Good luck getting anyone to use your product with those bullshit fees.
There are way better alternatives to your card dude….
To anyone here looking for actual alternatives that are better than this garbage, here are a few:
https://card.withcl.com/ (2% cashback + no deposit fees + apple/google pay support + no card issuance fees)
https://www.jeton.com/ (cashback i think and no deposit fees. virtual card is free but doesnt support apple pay, so you need to pay to receive the physical card. a plus is it supports atm withdrawals.)
https://solcard.cc (no deposit fees if kyc’d, but option for no kyc available. some minor fees if you make small purchases, but otherwise ok-ish )
https://jup.ag (no deposit fees, global card in beta available in certain countries atm expanding more soon https://support.jup.ag/hc/en-us/articles/25691462148508-Jupiter-Card#h_01KJ4WD0BJ8Z3X9HY72A3VH9NH)
3.2% deposit fee is absolutely fucking HORRENDOUS.
NOBODY, and i mean NOBODY, is gonna use this shit.
Every single link you sent does KYC. The only thing that makes that 3.2% worth it is no KYC.
“Key Features of the Cryptomus Virtual Card
Instant Issuance
— Issue up to 10 cards per user after completing a one-time KYC.”
Huh? Where do you see no kyc? Also, not every link i sent does kyc. I mentioned solcard also offers no kyc for their virtual cards only.
Fees are "5% + $10/new card" in that case.
Heleket, Cryptomus' sister company, does no KYC.
