I’m often amused by how naive some people are when it comes to basic realities
Checked last night, and those ranges were finally blocked.
This seems rather difficult.
Despite the discussions here, there is no information on what routes work and no guarantee that they will continue working.
So this is difficult to address.
Deploying what he wants lands him in prison.. not so offtopic brother
That is the ultimate basis for authority in most countries around the world. It's just that the majority of people don't try too provoke the bear hard enough to find out.

Thanks for actually contributing to the TOPIC!
I'll do as well except for one point: There are way more Iranians on the street supporting their government than there ever were "pro-democracy goons"! Plus, Iran is a very, very old culture and I'm sure the people there are perfectly well capable to decide for themselves!
Re the topic, @johnwinchester: As I always include 3 iranian targets in my benchmarking I can tell you that there are a few providers with working connectivity to 2 of those 3 iranian targets. So, Iran seems to not be completely cut off the internet. Although rarely I even reached all 3 targets.
But: even before the current situation there where many (potential) network targets that were difficult to reach (if at all). What I said was about "into Iran", not "from Iran". Re. connectivity from Iran to the outside I can't help, sorry.
