It's for new purchases or customers who already have the service.

    New purchases!

We are working on restocking soon.

@advinservers said: Running blockchain- or cryptocurrency-related projects is highly discouraged; please contact us before running one, and we can provide approval.

Is this specific to mining due to being CPU intensive, or does it also include non-mining and non-CPU intensive blockchain applications?

It is mostly to avoid CPU-intensive or disk-intensive applications. It is worded that way because some non-mining cryptocurrency use cases can be very CPU-intensive or disk-intensive, and we might want to be aware of them.

If you are doing something crypto-related that won't use much CPU or I/O, then yes, that's perfectly fine. We have nothing against crypto projects; it's simply that we have dealt with issues in the past from users ordering hundreds of VMs and running crypto-related workloads that destroy our hypervisors.

@advinservers - Did you increase the price of the Ryzen plans today? I'm pretty sure the XS / C1F was $6 per month yesterday.

Will future invoices for existing customers increase too?

We wouldn't adjust invoices for existing customers.

It did increase slightly, we're working on changes to the lineup and we will post here with some updates regarding it once done.

I think you have changed the plan from retiring it to continue? I don't see the EOL notice on Ryzen plans anymore.

Got it! I currently run a Monero (non-mining) node on your server, but as it is already synced with the network, it won't get anywhere near saturating I/O (iowait is under 0.5% and the monerod process is averaging under 3% CPU).

That and the inventory linkage isn't working properly anymore. The 3 plans the website displays in stock are out of stock on WHMCS.

Yes, we did. We plan on deploying some Ryzen HVs with 128GB RAM instead of 256GB.

9950X has 64 MB L3 Cache and 16 cores, that's 4 MB per core. So Advin should actually change your L3 from 16 MB to 8 MB. 😈

I will double check, but I'm not sure if the L3 cache reporting in a VM is accurate.

I had tested for almost a year, L3 slice was not static per core. I don't know if certain VM does applied with that scenario.

I had an app running parallel between VMs,
the difference between limited 16MB slice and 64MB slice was very noticeable.
    Specially on 9950X , 9900X, and 9700X
focusing on the result over Geekbench 6 in Windows
    or lscpu in Debian.

I thought there were no differences, but truly I can't believed, it does

We were planning on expanding this lineup internationally (and growing it significantly), but then the RAM shortages starting occurring, and deploying more of these have become no bueno :'(
